Welcome to The Teddy Bear Chalet! Our freshly renovated and modern two story cabin is the perfect destination for a group of friends or family vacation to the mountains no matter the season you choose to visit. Located in lower Moonridge you will be within a short stroll to the local Zoo and newly renovated Moonridge Corridor which offers local coffee and donut shops for your morning snacks before you head out for your adventures. Hop in the car and your group can be to all local activities within ten minutes including ski resorts, golf, hiking trails, and the marina or Village shops- this chalet boasts all that you need within a prime central location- the possibilities are endless from this adorable base camp chalet!

Gorgeous hardwood floors and knotty pine beamed ceilings greet you with an immediate feeling like you are right at home as you enter your property in the cozy and warm living room area- the big open windows provide you with the perfect balance of natural lighting and views of the forested neighborhood and snow falling outside. You'll love snuggling up here on the plush sectional together as you warm your toes in front of the toasty wood burning fireplace and pop on a movie on the flat screen Streaming TV with complimentary hi speed WIFI internet provided for your enjoyment. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.) The open floor plan is perfect for entertaining a dinner party or hosting your next family holiday in the mountains as it flows seamlessly around the corner to the equipped dining area and kitchen- the custom log dining table and breakfast bar stools pair together to ensure there is plenty of comfortable seating spaces for your group to enjoy meals together here. Our team offers 24/7 support along with local on site offices and experience packages.

Big Bear GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY is enforced at all times during your stay and includes removing trash from the property to local trash sites, washing dishes to alleviate wild animals being attracted to neighborhoods. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, No Over Occupancy, No Loud Music, and No Street Parking is allowed in Big Bear homes at any time. This policy along with a rental agreement will be emailed to you immediately after booking and is REQUIRED by the City of Big Bear Lake for all rentals in Big Bear. If found in violation of these policies guests will be visited by staff and Code Enforcement officers who may or may not issue fines or evictions to the violating party members. No Smoking is allowed in any Big Bear homes.

Winter Snow & Parking- During winter months the driveways, steps, porches, decks, and other outdoor areas at your property may not be accessible due to snow or ice. Our teams are on fixed routes for snow and work alongside city and county resources to clear roads, driveways, walkways etc. Guests should be prepared in winter months to shovel themselves in or out of the property and off of the street in these snowstorm events. As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows. California Law requires that vehicles traveling to Big Bear from November thru April have snow chains in their vehicles however we also recommend proper footwear, an emergency kit, and an extra snow shovel.

Though individually owned and decorated all homes will be equipped with clean linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy of your property. Each home has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes, and a small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Your home will not be supplied with paper towels, coffee filters or coffee, specialty kitchen items or appliances, condiments or oils, bathrooms soaps or lotions and hair dryers.

There is no Pay-Per-View access or Ordering of Viewing options in any of our Big Bear homes.

No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, TV or other equipment factors beyond our control.

Big Bear is a mountain community located in a deep forest which is also home to many forest critters. Common animals or insects that you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects every home prior to your arrival but cannot guarantee that the home will be free of these forest animals or pests.

Big Bear Vacations reserves the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
