House is perfect for a group of 6 or smaller with an additional apartment for a few more people if needed. No traffic by house as it is at the end road with no other house in sight.Gravel road was in great condition for an easy drive.Wildlife around house. We saw a lot deer up close by the road.Wish I could have stayed longer.

Absolutely loved this place, wood work is amazing. Great setup with all the essentials you need. Very quiet and peaceful. My family and I would highly recommend this place. Loved both showers and tub!! Owner quickly responded when I had questions before the trip and checked on us while we was there, very nice 😊
The property was as described.Very rustic with modern touches.Very tranquil and relaxing. And all of the reviews were very true and helpful. And we will definitely come back again. A view of the lake would be amazing. But the wildlife is very active on the property.
What an amazing cabin! The decor is beautiful and the view is spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. We had dinner on the deck several evenings watching the small herd of deer that walk through. The beds are comfortable and it is very quiet for a great nights rest. The owner will reply immediately when texted! There were a few small issues, nothing of worry, that were taken care of and one issue that the owner had to walk us through. The owner left us fresh butter, creamer and eggs, which we were very thankful for and enjoyed. We can't wait to return!
We will definitely be back!!
Awesome little cabin perfect for a tranquil and peaceful getaway. Fully furnished kitchen along with spices, and even condiments. The view of the lake was obstructed by trees, but to be expected with the Corps of Engineers restrictions on state owned lakes. The deck was very nice although too cool for us to use while we were there. The living room was very cozy and comfortable and the sofa is perfect for catching a nap. The bathrooms were all very cool, and the waterfall shower was amazing. Our only complaints was the bed was not very comfortable and the mini split made alot of noise at night. Other than that this place was pristine, rustic, and very cozy. It was a very relaxing weekend and definitely recommend adding it to your list of peaceful getaways'
This property is immaculate! It is a beautiful cabin nestled in a little holler that is perfect for a quiet get away or a romantic weekend. It is clean, has very nice, comfortable amenities, and is absolutely gorgeous on the inside. Could not have asked for a better property for my family. We like to be on the water and enjoy fishing together. The description is somewhat misleading because it sounds like you can see the lake from the house and that you have direct access to it. You have to drive to the water and the property around the lake is private so you have to leave a card on your car or maybe talk to the folks who live down there. They are very nice and accommodating but just did not fit the description online. The view from the deck is very wooded with little glimpses of the water in between the trees. It’s still a very lovely place and it suited our family fine. We needed one more kayak than was offered so one of the gentlemen who lives by the lake let us use one of his. It all worked out:)
Beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods. Very clean and so much detail has been put into the decor and design. The waterfall shower in the master is a nice bonus to an overall great place to stay. Other than the garage apartment across the drive, you cannot see any other homes. The place is so serene and quiet. There are several games and decks of cards to use during your stay. Towels, wash cloths, toilet paper, paper towels, travel toiletries, etc were all provided. The owner also had farm fresh eggs for our stay.
We had trouble getting the GPS to locate the physical address, but the owner provided a drop location to use as well as detailed directions from Lewisburg that were very easy to follow. The drive has a pretty steep gravel hill. We had to use 4WD when it rained.
The owner contacts via text, so be sure to check your unknown sender messages just before your stay. They were easy to reach and quick to respond.
My husband and I look forward to coming back as we have family in the area. This is the nicest place we’ve found to stay at a reasonable price. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Pristine and Serene
I wanted a place secluded and serene enough for me, while clean and comfortable enough for my wife. This place was perfect. It felt like they spared no expense and overlooked no detail to make this a great getaway spot. There are so many features worth highlighting: from the writing desk in the loft (where I saw deer and turkey through the woods) to the rock cave water fall shower downstairs. My favorite part was the main level deck, perched among the treetops with a view of the distant tree line across the valley where the lake sits. This place is truly a treasure. Just a few clarifying caveats: (1) The spiral staircase was archetectually impressive and super fun to ascend and descend to each level, but someone with unsure footing/above average size might find it challenging. (2) kayaks: if you are able to borrow the host’s kayaks, you’ll need a way to transport them. It was hard to tell from the photo gallery, but the cabin sits on a hill above the lake level, and the lake access is half a mile down the road. Not a big deal, but just be aware that you can't simply walk them out the back door and be on the lake. (3) I might soften the "4WD/AWD recommended”–we were in our minivan and made it along the short gravel road hills and turns just fine, though a smaller/lower clearance car might feel more nervous. (4) We did not have cell phone coverage, but the wifi onsite enabled us to do what we needed. (5) I learned that the VRBO contact host link wasn’t working, so if you were wanting to reach out to the host, do so via Evolve. Once we made the reservation, the host was very responsive, attentive, gracious, and helpful.
