Host Double Booked

This host double booked this property. Upon my arrival host advised that she had rented it via another platform and it was not available for me because the other guest had already arrived. She was apologetic. VRBO did not assist me in finding accommodations and I was left to find last minute accommodations and pay last minute pricing.

Great Stay For What It Is

We looked at this property and favorited it. When we went to book it, it was unavailable. We checked back the next day and it was available so we booked it right away. I’m providing that for context. It wasn’t until we got the check in information a day before after asking that we noticed it was a lock off suite part of a larger condo with someone staying in the larger part. Neither of us could believe we overlooked this and would be staying in a place without a kitchen or living area, that’s just not how we travel. Unsure if the listing was changed before we booked it but that was our fault and we rolled with it. This is just to make sure people are aware in case they miss it too. So please know that it is just a room and bathroom but it is fairly private. There is a small refrigerator that is nice for storing drinks. The bathroom is nice and spacious and the place is very well appointed for what it is. The amenities of the property are great. The rooftop pools are just as pictured. It is only a list a block away from 5th Ave and a supermarket about 2-3 min away. The beach is not far at all. If it’s just two people and you don’t need a lot of space, I would highly recommend this place. Biggest downside is the internet is horrible. Very inconsistent to perform basic web surfing. If you plan to work from home, not here. Added plus was the spa right in the complex that is reasonably priced. All in all, we had a lovely stay.
