Putter Place is a lakefront home that invites you to unwind and make yourself at home!

Your family and friends will be delighted when they enter this spacious, tastefully decorated waterfront property. Whether you are making breakfast in the kitchen or watching TV on the couch, the open layout of the main level makes it easy for everyone to carry on conversations. The great room is highlighted by hardwood floors and sliding doors that reveal scenic views. A large, leather sectional sofa provides ample seating for your crew when they want to relax by the light of the gas fireplace.

With seating at the dining table, kitchen island and breakfast nook, everyone will have a spot when mealtime comes. You can also open the sliders that lead to the deck and make use of the grill for a summer BBQ.

You will fall in love with the main level primary suite that has access to the deck so that you can enjoy the lake breeze at bedtime. A king bed and TV will keep you comfortable when it is time to retire after a fun day on the water.

Upstairs, the loft doubles as a sleeping area with a queen sleeper sofa. A primary suite with a king bed and a TV gives you a private haven when you need a little quiet time. Two additional bedrooms are located on this floor, each outfitted with a king bed and TV.

A second gas fireplace adds a warm ambiance to the lower level family room. This is a great spot to plan your itinerary for the following day. When you are ready to unwind, watch your favorite TV show or a classic movie.

Outfitted with a king bed and TV, the lower level primary suite was designed with your comfort in mind. Seasonal lake views will inspire you to explore the outdoors during your time in the mountains. Rounding out the sleeping quarters is a bedroom with 2 bunk beds that is perfect for the kids.

Offering easy access to the water, this home is ideal for those who love boating, swimming or fishing. Just off of the beaten path, you are close to Swallow Falls State Park ' a 'must-see' when you come to the lake.

The overall property was exactly as described. The house was spacious and provided plenty of entertainment. Everything was in working order except the front door lock- the code provided did not unlock the property. We would stay here again.

Small get away..

Loved the view of the lake. The house was big.. loved it. The only issue we had is that the shower water smelled bad, like something was burning. Over all i would stay there again. Thank you for having us :)

Great house, great location

Our family with adult kids came in from three cities for a driveable vacation destination and really enjoyed Deep Creek area and Putter Place. A lot of the rentals here are more "rustic" and I wanted something less so, this worked. All of the bedrooms that aren't bunks have king beds - check. Plenty of bathrooms, although the shower stalls are very tight and lack decent shower heads. Might be because the water isn't great - you need to drink bottled water, which they have, but was empty when we checked in on Saturday. I opened up a maintenance ticket with Taylor Made rentals that night and Tuesday they told me they would be there "this week". Frustrating when one of the reasons we picked this location was so we didn't have to shop, we brought everything we thought we needed for the week. The house is nicely equipped (kitchen is set up for large groups if you have one) and the open main floor with deck access is lovely. We enjoyed several gorgeous sunsets and the fire pit a few nights - easy to sink into "lake life"! Renting boats was fun, our neighbors had a water trampoline delivered and their kids loved it. Hiking at Deep Creek State Park was outstanding. Highly recommend the area and Putter Place, I can only imagine how beautiful it is when the leaves are turning in the Fall!

Fabulous Family Fun!

We will be back! Putter Place was perfect for our family and extended family. Plenty of space to laught together and make memories! Swimming in the lake, kayaking and playing games on the deck kept us entertained all week. We will be back!

Just what we needed

A great mostly private location at the far (dam) end of the lake. Very quiet and not much boat traffic. We rented a pontoon boat from the Aquatic Center (30min by boat) for three days and used every moment of it. The house fit four couples, two singles and six kids under ten. There was enough room that nobody was on top of one another. The outdoor patio was great for grilling and dining outside. The house was comfortably equipped with beds, furniture and cooking supplies. The AC worked great. Downsides of the house were the breaker kept tripping for the oven, which made cooking a challenge. Bottled water is supplied because the tap water has a heavy sulfur smell and poor taste: the house was out of water when we arrived and took a day to get more. The hot tub had no chemicals for it and got very gross very fast. All in all 10/10 would recommend even with the listed challenges.

The location of this house is great especially when you have young children so they could swim in the lake (not too deep). Only one complaint is that there needs to be better lighting in the kitchen especially and the shower head in the master bedroom on the main level bathroom needs to be changed. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this house. We also loved the check in and check out process. Thank you for a great vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After carefully planning our 2017 Deep Cteek vacation before leaving the lake in 2016, our rental house got sold which left us high and dry. A perfect replacement was temptingly dangled before us but was not going to be built in time as first forcast. Out of nowhere it seemed, Putter Place appeared which was not previously listed since it had been under construction. We may have been its first bookings and only the second family to experience it when we arrived in August. It was perfect for our family and boat and we are re-booked for 2018. Hopefully the owners do not decide to sell it before then like happened last year.

That's not enough to keep us away, though. We will be back next summer!
