Your host will help you engage with local experts for historic, art and architecture walks, guided Forest walks and mushroom identifying hikes. Wellness activities feature Au Dela de Beau - Beyond Beauty massages services, aromatherapy, manicures, pedicures, yoga.....all tailor made for your group.
The gardens hold Carolinian species and rare trees, the house is full of original artwork - some for sale. There is a full kitchen, living room with fireplace, dining room and a library with a day bed for napping or meditation. A front sunroom is excellent for watching the sunset. We had a great time at Rasa and Marc’s cottage. It has all you need for a perfect vacation. Well stocked kitchen, fantastic pool, amazing view and great location
The hosts were lovely and made the stay memorable. The pool and almost tropical views were amazing. Comfy beds and large kitchen. Nearby Antique store and birding was great!

Thank you for this great review Leslie! It was great to have your family here and would love to see you again. Yes, it certainly can be quite tropical here. We have been compared to South Africa and India.....But Port Rowan it is.
Wonderful home for a family weekend. Charming home, gorgeous views, wonderful hosts! If you're looking for a place to relax and recharge, this is a wonderful option!
This place is amazing. The view across the lake is great and the pool was a perfect size and depth for us and our two kids. The house itself felt spacious and was so well stocked. They have literally thought of everything including two different types of coffee machine. Rasa and Marc are lovely too and were very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. We would definitely recommend Cote Rowan to others.

Thank you very much for choosing this little corner of Canada as your holiday destination! We truly enjoyed having you here at Cote du Rowan and would love to see you back again....and thank you for the frog!
Rasa and Marc couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful during our stay. They thought of every possible need that we might have. We opened a drawer or cupboard and voila, there it was. This cottage is full of character and is decorated beautifully. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and the gardens! We would highly recommend a booking at this cottage!

Thanks so much Barbara. We really enjoyed having you and your family here. Great pictures! I'm glad we were able to inspire your artistic sensibilities!
We had a wonderful mini vacation at Cotes du Rowan. Marc and Rasa are amazing hosts. Very quick to communicate. The cottage had everything we needed. A full stocked kitchen, plenty of towels for pool and bathroom. The pool was kept very clean. My grandchildren from England practically lived in it. The grounds are wonderful to walk around with lots of plants and greenery to admire. The view of the lake was beautiful. We will return next year. Thankyou Marc and Rasa

Thanks so much for this great review Anne! We were very happy to have you and your family spend some time here and would love to see you back soon. Rasa
Amazing stay, quiet, beautiful and close to nature. Peaceful town. Incredible hosts, clean house with all the amenities and comfort. The pool was warm even on cold days. The house was lovely and very welcoming. Gorgeous garden around the house, they even bring in a couple of goats to eat some of the vegetation on the hill which was an absolute thrill for us. Would definitely go back again.

Thank you Tasneen for this great review! We loved having you and your family stay at Cotes du Rowan. Glad the goats were not an intrusion as they were just "doing their job". Please come back anytime!!!! Rasa and Marc
Cote Du Rowan- was everything we were looking for and more in a vacation. It was spacious inside, clean, artfully decorated, beautiful outdoor swimming space and view of the lake. It was all and all wonderful. Rasa and Mark (maybe Marc? :)), were welcoming and kind, but also gave us complete privacy during our stay. Very respectful and congenial.
Rasa and Marc are amazing hosts! Their cottage is well kept and equipped with ample space to have a lovely stay. They greeted us on arrival to show us around which was super friendly. They also had a thoughtfully curated welcome basket with local snacks, beverages and goods which we thoroughly enjoyed. The view was great to enjoy both the water and sunsets with well tended gardens that made it feel very lush and tropical. The pool was warm so even our baby could enjoy the water. The kitchen had everything you could possibly think of to cook bother indoors and outdoors on the grill (including various spices, great non-stick pans, variety of coffee/tea). The bathrooms were well stocked with high-end soaps/shampoos/air sprays and plenty of bath and pool towels. Anything we needed, Rasa and Marc were quick to help with. We'll definitely be back.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments! We really enjoyed having you as our guests. Pt. Rowan would love to see you again!!!!
Cotes du Rowan is absolute magic! There are not enough words to express how amazing this cottage is. The view of Lake Erie brings a calm, that any water lover will understand. The gardens and pathways make you feel as if you’ve been swept away to a far off land. The cottage itself was so comfortable and felt like home the minute you walked in. The pool was a dream was always the perfect temperature/clean. Rasa and Marc have thought of every little detail, to make this place beyond wonderful. They made themselves available for anything we needed and were beyond welcoming! There is no doubt, we will be back!!!

Thank you so much for visiting us in Pt. Rowan and staying at Cotes du Rowan! It was a real pleasure having you two and we are so happy you were comfortable and enjoyed yourself......rain or shine!!! Please come back anytime!
Cotes du Rowan is a fantastic place with absolutely stunning views of Long Point inner bay. A great place for an early fall girls retreat to de - stress! The gardens were a magical place to wander, and we found out that the owners keep the pool open, warm and clean as long as possible!!!
The house was so clean, beds comfortable with high end sheets and duvets. The kitchen is truly well equipped for cooking gourmet meals, and we also found fresh market produce from the Port Rowan Harbour market.
Rasa and Marc are very special hosts . Not only did they give us a basket of locally produced goodies, snacks and...yes that included beer and wine . They also let us use their Long Point Provincial park pass.
We were pleasantly surprised by how much there is to do in this area. from visiting vineyards, breweries, golf, historic walking trails and Great shopping in Port Rowan!
Definitely will be back with our families!

About the host
Hosted by Rasa Lannoo
Growing up, we would visit this area often and are now planning to retire here. We have travelled the world and keep coming back to this area rich in history, culture and unique ecosystems. We would love to share this with our guests.
Why they chose this property
We are minutes walk from shops and resturants but still are able to enjoy the privacy and peace of the nature surrounding us.
What makes this property unique
Part of the house is close to 100 years old with architecture unique to southern Ontario. The gardens are full of native Carolinian trees and plants. The artwork is original by artists that are friends of the owners. This place really looks and feels like it is part of Norfolk and not like it was transported from the suburbs of a large city.
