we cancelled this reservation and have not received a refund

We booked this stay in December and cancelled it on Jan 27. despite several requests we have yet to receive a refund. I would never use VRBO again.

Family Get Away

The location and ease of checking in was great.I loved that it was pet friendly.However, I booked the house for location and the pool. The pool was green for the entire time. When I reached out they said the pool guy was coming. He came and threw in chemicals. You could see the line at the bottom of the pool. The pool needed vacuuming and I shared that in my conversation. They never fixed the problem. Plus… it was obvious there had been a party there prior as there was still a plastic background in the pool area over the master bedroom window with deflated floats, cigarette butts, etc on the patio. But when I reached out/ I didn’t get a response from them. Then on Saturday when we wanted to hangout- there were people cutting down trees and doing lawn work for hours. On top of all of this- the house smelled of mold!!! They didn’t leave any garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Then when we entered the garaged…there were rodent droppings all over.

Amazing home

My family and myself in general enjoy the stays in rented homes; as I make reservations in the best houses, usually big with all the features we like. This home ri the best we have rented in all the years we have been this activity. Only we had missed is the unheated swimming pool, as we like to use it at night. The rest of features were excellent. Our plan is come back gin in August. Let's see if we can.
