Enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay in this spacious home, catering up to 8 people. 3 x QB bedrooms, 2 x SB kids room with toys.

HOME FEATURES:
Spacious sunken dining room with cds, books, dvds, games and large 8-seat dining suite. Large lounge room with 55" television, leather lounge and large carpeted floor area. Huge windows facing north make the house warm, light and inviting. Freshly refurbished to a high standard. Upgraded retro kitchen with full oven/grill, fridge, microwave oven, all cutlery and crockery and utensils, pots and pans, etc. (Complimentary seasonal produce, when available. Staple pantry items and condiments. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, coffee plunger and ground coffee, uht milk, bottled spring water). Bathroom has large, open shower with big luxurious rainhead (shampoo, bodywash and towels). Property has 2 toilets, large full length mirror in hallway. Quality beds and bedding in spacious bedrooms. Children are welcome, with a cute kids room featuring 2 single beds, toys and space to play. Portacot and highchair available on request. Outside there is a large paved pergola area for entertaining (with 8 seater table and chairs), grass and garden area for relaxing, an undercover carport by entry door and offstreet parking.

Just a 100m stroll to the famous Blue Lake and walking trails. Close proximity to the city centre and other attractions. Located in one of the citys prime areas amongst quality homes, in quiet street.

Great Base

Our group really enjoyed staying here for the Fantasy Medieval Fair. The couch was big enough for all of us and the big dinning table was great for board games. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful house, failed on faulty oven, no washing machine, no Wifi

I first state that this is a wonderful spacious house, well located near Blue Lake at Mt Gambier - we enjoyed our time here. However our stay was marred by 3 problems: a lack of a washing machine or Wifi, which we did not notice in the booking (our fault). Either of these would be enough for many families to book elsewhere - a house this size and at this price should have both. The third problem was a fault in the stove - it would not heat at all. The landlord also provided a portable stove, which we used, but this also suffered from limited space and poor heating. To get enough heat, I had to cook meats with a lid on a frypan, and run multiple shifts - something I've never had to do anywhere in the past. Also, the property came with a very spartan kitchen with few utensils, including a filthy frypan with burnt teflon, a serious health hazard - the landlady did give us a clean one when we asked. She also gave us some vegetables, including a beetroot, which was nice - but ironically it took about 2 hours to cook on the portable stove. The landlady needs to reconsider renting this property, and whether she is prepared to replace the stove and upgrade what is included. We have previously rented properties through Stayz at a third of this price, with much more offered.

Clean and Comfy

We really enjoyed our stay at Christmas Eve. The Property Manager was very friendly and responsive; Since there were 8 of us we needed a few more kitchen accessories. She responded right away in the middle of the night, and they were delivered early in the morning, with some freshly picked rhubarbs and grapefruits.
