SOLAR PANELS and batteries provide electricity during your stay. Remember, should you overuse the power, you will end up having none available to you until the sun will power the batteries again. Water to the cottage provided from the river and, therefore, is not suitable for drinking. Water is safe for bathing, dishwashing and cleaning. We will provide 4Gal bottle of drinking water per stay. Should you believe, you may need more, please bring it with you.
We all are striving for conservation of resources/energy and water is one of them. Should you wish to bring paper plates, it will provide you with fire starter, save water and, best of all, gives you break from washing plates.

Two ferry services connect the island to the mainland: a County-operated ferry near Kingston and the Township-operated "Foot Ferry" near Gananoque, provide ferry service 24/7 for 10$ total per two way
Please note we provide bed linens and you need to take towels. We only provide pillows and duvets. Linens and towels can be provided by us at additional fee, please contact us for details.
