About this property
Caribou Island cottage
A newly renovated cottage nestled between two beaches on the Northumberland strait. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens (1 full and 1 that is not fully stocked). The main kitchen is on the bottom floor and fully equipped for all your cooking needs, there is a fridge and a stove upstairs that is usable. The upstairs is not accessible from the bottom level. It is designed like two separate places. There is a wraparound deck to walk up the stairs to get into the top floor. There will NOT be other people staying at the same time, we rent it as a whole unit. It is the perfect accommodation for two families or two couples, who want to vacation together and be in close proximity, yet not share the same personal spaces. One side of the cottage is on a beautiful, sandy beach, the other side of the cottage is nestled in a cove, with a view of the Prince Edward Island fairy crossing. Dig clams on one side and beach and swim on the other! 360° Waterview with balconies to admire the view!

We had a great time at the cottage, everything was in working order and owner was so easy to communicate with. The beds were comfortable, plenty of eating areas, enough "separate" spaces so everyone had their space. The beach was so close and is a great beach with lots of interesting rocks, shells and sea glass. Sandy beach so it was easy to walk on. We are looking forward to staying there again!
Wow, Just Wow, the views from every window is breathtaking. Very Clean and lots of room on both Levels to enjoy. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. The neighbours were all friendly. Plenty of decks to lounge on and to catch all day sun. We had lots of walks on the sandy beaches. It was nice to see the PEI Ferries coming and going. Erin the owner, was fantastic to communicate with. We definitely will book again.Randy J. Prince Edward Island

It was a pleasure to host you! Welcome back anytime!
Everything that we wanted was at this house. It truly was a home away from home! We did have to travel a bit to get to everything (shopping, sightseeing, etc.), but the travelling, for our family, was part of the adventure, and we were in a central spot to get to the attractions that we wanted to see in the province. We loved walking along the beach any chance we could get. The kids didn't want to leave!
Nice! Good size place. Well stocked kitchen. Beach is like a 2 min walk, and the beach is pretty nice: sandy, fairly warm, no big waves. Friendly town folk to chat with, but generally very quiet, almost like a private beach.
The house has plenty of towels and board games. No wifi, though.
It was the perfect place to reconnect with our adult kids and our grandbabe. We spent days visiting the 2 beaches rock hunting, sandcastle building and naming the seals. Walking to the lighthouse at the end of the road was a must for our grandbabe and watching the ferries leave Pictou was always a must each day. The porches and balconies allowed us to watch stunning sunrises and sunsets and just relaxing with our family. The cottage has everything you need for comfort and fun. And when the sunset, a few games nights were the hit of the vacation. Erin, our host, messaged to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel at home! We'd definitely book again with Erin and this lovely cottage. Thanks Erin of a lovely place to stay!
Great layout, lots of options for sleeping arrangements and plenty of separate space for multiple families to stay together but with some privacy. Quiet street, water access was easy to find and the beach was gorgeous. Loved the neighborhood dogs who came to say hi daily.
