The unit was unfortunately not very clean. The kitchen floor was sticky, cutlery dirty, ripped net curtains & dead flies on windowsill. I left a day early.
Small unit, no washing machine. Great for short stays. Place was cleaned upon leaving however host was unkind to me when I left. Host visited the place several times while I was staying there and did not complain or say anything (my service animal had been pre approved and was seen). Waited til I left to message me complaining. This really upset me. I wont be staying again but I would recommend it as a short sfay to others.
I stayed here during a work contract doing a series of night shifts. Thanks to the air conditioner and the quiet location sleeping during the day was easy. The kitchenette was adequate and the apartment is nicely furnished. Overall a great place to stay.

Easy check in process and owner Dan is an excellent host responds to any questions as soon as he possibly can. Self-contained unit was neat, tidy, compact, 5 minute drive to Eaton or Treendale shopping centre's.
Just a10 minute drive into bunbury town centre. If you enjoy a walk there is a collie river walking trail just 10 minutes down the road. Quiet street relaxing location I would stay there again, Cheers for an enjoyable stay. Yvette
Great spot. Very cosy and organised for a small bedsit. So much so that we managed to fit four of us comfortably for three nights with wet weather. Thoughtful inclusion were soaps in the shower, clean towels and Netflix streaming.
They might consider adding a couple of stools at their handy fold down table for when there are more than two people eating. Other than this, we can’t fault it and would definitely stay again.
After reading all the previous reviews I was a bit concerned about the accommodation, was actually a good surprise. With everything you need for a couple of days, the cleaning isn’t the best but very normal for Australian standards. Some little details like good shampoo and conditioner, an hairdryer and a very complete kitchen with cleaning stuff as well. Bed and pillows could be more comfortable. The location was good but had a car to travel around. No noise complaints at all.
We found the shower dirty old soap and stains on floor, stains on the kitchen floor, dust and webs/spiders on the curtains, and in the bathroom. No instructions on how to operate the cook top, so went and bought an electric fry pan. the roof vents are turned on by the unit next door so we found out, it was cold during the night and made a loud whistling noise near the bedroom window. could do nothing until the next day, the person in the next unit was so noisy I had to use head phones just to tone down the noise coming from it, the walls are paper thin. No, we would never consider staying there again, nor tell any of our friends, out of a rating of 10 I would only give it a (-2) price was too much for the 5 days we stayed there, and the arm chair needs a good cleaning, it is just filthy where other people have rubbed their hands on it.
The dwelling consists of a separate area (including a front master, a potential TV room, and a customized kitchenette) within an old-fashioned property with a separate door. Despite being marketed as a Self Contained Studio, it lacks suitability for short-term stays, as the infrastructure may not align with the advertised claims. Ideally accommodating one person (or at best, two at a significantly reduced rate), it unequivocally cannot support more than two individuals, contradicting the assertion of suitability for a family of four.
Noteworthy drawbacks include:
- The overall state of disrepair, especially the aged armchair.
- Lack of instructions for operating the cooktop.
- Dysfunctional DVD player.
- Non-functional WiFi with no signal, affecting both TV and other services.
- The purported Hot Tub is nothing more than an April Fool's Joke.
- Uncomfortable sofa bed, unsuitable for children to sleep on. Despite seeking extra blankets for the floor, the unresponsive owner claimed personal comfort on the sofa bed the next day. Consequently, blankets had to be purchased locally from Kmart.
This review, hastily composed during a sleepless first night, reflects a strong dissatisfaction, with a desire to rate less than 1 star. The experience was so unsatisfactory that the prospect of returning is out of consideration, and the inclination is to dissuade others from choosing this accommodation at current cost.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location
The location was very far from Bunbury centre but the main issue was cleanliness of the property. Looked like I hadn't been vacuumed in a long time! Also the fold out couch in the lounge room is EXTREMELY uncomfortable, very difficult to sleep on.
