The cottage was absolutely perfect for our one month stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. The outdoor grill added convenience for our home cooked meals. We were able to walk into town to restaurants, shopping, etc. We would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again.
House was very close to everything we wanted to do. We could walk to town and the Ecusta Trail. Comfortable main bed and stocked. Great size for the twi of us.
This is a cozy cottage located in close proximity to everything Hendersonville has to offer. It is very well equipped in the kitchen, which I needed to prepare for my daughter's BabyQ. I would definitely rent again.
After reading the reviews online, I was very skeptical about renting this house. There were no mold issues. The house was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. I love that it was so convenient to downtown and you could walk pretty much anywhere you needed to go. It was perfect for our short stay! There were a few issues with the stove, not working unless you used a match to light it, hairdryer, blew cold air, and the toaster didn’t work. They had a suggestion box there where we left our issues.

Cozy retreat close to downtown
Our only complaint about our stay is it wasn't long enough. The house is well equipped to make yourselves at home.
We really enjoyed our stay here, we love the area and would stay here again. Cottage is clean and has everything you need. It's a cozy spot, nice fireplace. Only things I'd say could be better: the coffee pot is small and some spots in the floors will snag your socks, not deal breakers though.
The perfect place for day trips around Hendersonville. The cottage was cozy and welcoming; neighborhood walkable and beautiful. The front porch was perfect for lounging in the evening enjoying the cool weather. Great place!!
We enjoyed our stay. Close to family. It was quiet. Bed very comfortable. The shower could us handicap bars, and heat and air thermostat difficult to get set right.
There was no curb appeal. we suggest sprucing up the outside. We saw a sign on the fireplace screen that said "Don't touch". I sent a message asking if that meant only the screen or not to turn on the fire....no reply. We ended up using the fire but I felt "off" at times and then better when we departed. I suggested you improve the ventilation or something.... Also, the master bedroom was freezing at night!

From the owner: We were disappointed with your review. During the winter season, there are no leaves on the trees or blooming flowers. We're sorry that you didn't feel there was any curb appeal. We responded to your message, and there is a safety feature on the main gas connection that was placed to the right of the fireplace, not on the screen. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

The outside was over grown as it could possibly be and me stay there If it’s pet friendly my dog would not go outside - weeds & grass were grown over the grill , the porch , the walkway , the driveway , and was a definite no to grilling outside - too snakey .I complained - but to no avail Loved the inside !Loved it - beds comfy , kitchen clean and everything we needed Great shower - 5 star Inside - 5 star Outside - as stated above - a MESS

From the Owner: "Thank you for your feedback, and I sincerely apologize for the overgrown lawn during your stay. Unfortunately, due to recent heavy rain and the temporary illness of our lawn care provider, we experienced a delay in regular maintenance. I completely understand how this could have impacted your experience, and I’m truly sorry. The issue has since been fully resolved, and we’ve taken steps to ensure the yard remains well-kept moving forward. I appreciate you bringing it to our attention, and thank you again for staying with us."
Everything we needed and an easy walk to coffee shops and Mast General store. I appreciate another reviewer mentioning that curtains in primary bedroom and bathroom aren’t very opaque so I would know to pack blackout travel curtains. Thank you to Ruby with Evolve, the vacation rental company, for helping us retrieve an item we left behind. Would recommend this property to a friend.
What a pleasant surprise when we opened the door! Darling cottage filled with personal touches to make guests feel at home. Outside is fully fenced and dogs are made to feel very welcome with a jar of dog treats and a couch cover so pets can sit on furniture. Even a people treat waiting for us. We would definitely stay there again if traveling that way
Very cute. Quiet safe neighborhood. Shabby chic style, comfortable bed, living room furniture not as comfy. Pet friendly. Contact, Ruby, was very helpful. House was very clean. Needs real closets and less shear curtains in master bedroom and dressing area. We enjoyed our six day stay.
We spent five nights in this cute little home. It was cozy, clean and very comfortable. We loved the location. We walked our dog each morning and each night into downtown Hendersonville. We had four adults in the home and though the home is small, it never felt crowded. There are two bathrooms, but only one has a shower so some patience getting ready for the day was needed as everyone got their showers. The little sitting area outside in the front was wonderful to enjoy the mornings and evenings and the dog loved the fenced yard. Overall, wonderful stay. We would come back.

a mistake
When I entered the house it smelled musty with mildew. The heater went crazy and got the house so hot that I had to leave on the 3rd night there. I asked for reimbursement but could not get in touch with "Ruby"Very unsatisfactory.
I stayed 14 nights in this pet-friendly cottage. It was a lovely renovated old house, with a front patio and small front yard with a parking spot. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming as I walked the dog twice a day and enjoyed meals outdoors. The house was decorated in the shabby chic style with antiques and salvaged pieces of furniture. It had a large kitchen with enough equipment to cook meals at home. The beds were very comfortable in both bedrooms. The bed in the front room was elevated, which could be a consideration for less mobile guests. It’s not a modern, perfectly renovated interior, but it was pleasant enough and felt like home. We walked downtown many times for drinks or dining. There were great options and sidewalks all the way. I identified 149 moderate level hikes around the area, many with waterfalls, so there is plenty of outdoor activities possible for longer stays. The owners are working on improving the cottage. A few things could be better, but I would stay there again. Communication was easy.
