Property As Described But Poor Communication And Maintenance

The property itself was wonderful, although the decorations were strange and uncoordinated. The screened pool and the location are fantastic. Everything was as described, although a little disappointing. The "local" contact, who was many states away, was mediocre. There was old slimy fruit in the bottom of the kitchen trash can and there were no kitchen trash bags on site. We had some delivered as we got no quick response from the her. After we had already gotten some bags she responded and her cleaner dropped off more bags for us. The keypad door lock stopped unlocking the door even though it lit up green with the correct combination. I texted our local contact and once again didn't get a response. We had to leave a back door unlocked and come in through the back gate and pool screen door. She finally responded as we were checking out the next day. On the other hand, before we arrived she offered to get us some money off for a day-late arrival due to car trouble. We wished there were baking sheets on site. There were some gross reddish substances on some of the throw pillows in the living room. I was a little frustrated when we checked in after dark and there were no light switches inside the door. I had to stumble around in the dark to find a lamp and its wall switch, which were up a step from the entryway. There were some inflatables and pool noodles, but they were old and falling apart. Overall, simultaneously great and a little disappointing.

Perfect family house

We were thrilled with the ease and comfort of our stay there. The kids were in the pool almost constantly, giving us lots of relaxing time visiting our relatives. The place had every single thing we needed during our stay. The location was close to everything we did, from beaches to parks. Just perfect!
