The house was charming & yard is full of beautiful flowers. My family enjoyed our stay there. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood but still close enough to the falls for any activities you may planned.

Andrea leave a very clean house for us, we are very happy to host them, thank you Andrea, you are always welcome back!
The property was just as described. The house was built in the 1800’s and was beautifully decorated. Check in was easy the owner met us in the driveway as we arrived and asked about our trip. We had a great time and would rent here again.

Thank you Melody for your stay! You have keep our house clean and tidy, you are always welcome back!
This house has character. The art work is well done, the house feels like a Victorian home. The owners checked in to make sure we were warm enough and added an extra mattress. They were very polite and tried hard.
There are multiple elevations on each floor, making for tripping hazards. No smoke detectors visible. Just one entrance, not two. The furniture was quite adequate. No games, no books, no attraction list.

Thank you Marianne for your stay in my house. Yes, it is Victoria house, and it is a heritage house, cannot change too much. We have a smoke detector on the living room ceiling and basement interconnected, however we will add more. Thank you for your advice we will add more smoke detectors in each bedroom, also will add books and attractions list soon.
Overall, the location is almost perfect as it allows you to be just outside of the hustle and bustle of Niagara. The house offers an overall good experience and can easily accommodate 8-10 people. About a mile and a half walk to upper Clifton Hills. Internet WiFi and TV services are available and easily accessed.
There are several things that need to be addressed:
There is ONLY one entrance/exit to the rental. The back door is locked as it butts into the rear rental and could be a significant issue in case of a fire.
The listing shows "Hot tub" but it is a jet tub (located in the upstairs read bedroom) and designed for 1 occupant. There is a lot of small repairs needed throughout the house.
Drywall patches needing paint, wood floor needs a deep cleaning. exposed wiring in lower bathroom above the tub.
We ran out of hot water twice (6 people).
There are no dressers in the house so you will be living out of your bag/suitcase.
I would recommend labeling things in the kitchen as we looked for a lot of different items and unable to find some (coffee machine filter, etc). There is a collection of different older plates and dining utensils in the kitchen. Not sure if the plates are microwaveable or?
There is shared parking in the rear next to the attached small rental unit. A very narrow drive with shrubbery lines the path to the rear. You will be challenged to park 3 vehicles combined and will need to potentially either back in or out of the long driveway.
