Beautiful Vacation Home In The Heart Of Recreation At Georgetown Lake!

Beautiful, simple, 1500 sq foot 3 Bedroom/2 Bathroom home built in July of 2015. The house features an open living room/kitchen with vaulted ceilings, large fireplace with cultured stone, rustic mantle, and 60" flat screen TV with DishTV.

The house is fully furnished with a very well appointed kitchen with all the amenities. The dining room table has seating for 6, along with another 3 seats at the large kitchen island. Each of the bedrooms has its own flatscreen TV with DishTV, and wireless internet is available but it is SLOW. Quality bedroom sets, mattresses, and bedding makes for a restful nights sleep. Each of the bathrooms has a deep tub for relaxing soaks, and has a shower head with separate handheld shower for relaxing showers after a long day.

A large deck off the back of the house with a sidewalk to a stamped cobblestone patio and fire pit for those beautiful nights.

Attached to the house is a large, 24x24 insulated and sheet rocked garage with electric heater for drying out your fishing gear, ski gear, etc. There is now a couch and bunkbeds in the garage, so no inside parking.

There is more than ample parking when pulling into the driveway. There is a large, flat pad off to the side for extra parking or your snowmobile trailer(s).

The home is located only 6 minutes away from the base of Discovery Ski Area, so getting up to the slopes takes virtually no planning!!! For those of you who have a passion for snowmobiling, you can snowmobile directly from the driveway to the very popular, Red Lion area.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Quiet, clean, super comfortable home with beautiful views. We've visited several times and always enjoy our stay. This house has everything needed for a quiet, comfortable getaway. Close to Georgetown Lake, and lots of hiking and other outdoor activities. We will definitely be back!

The house is very comfortable and easy to use. Has all we needed for staying for a few days. Has a well stocked kitchen, great beds, sitting area and out door deck/patio. I come to Georgetown lake every June and this house is in a great location for me. Close to Seven Gable, the lake, trails nearby with easy access to everything I do each year. Love the garage and parking areas to clean off my fishing kayak and store it when I am not fishing. Hope to use it again in 2018.

A great getaway location

This home is a beautiful furnished, comfortable getaway. Although we only cooked breakfast there, everything we would have needed for any cooking we chose to do was available. There was obviously a lot of attention paid to comfort and livability. The beds were wonderful; the twin over full bunk bed was perfect for our grandchildren. The furniture in the living area was very amenable for reading, visiting and just hanging out. The hosts were very helpful. The kids enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the firepit. We had a very relaxing time and the location was perfect to explore Anaconda, Phillipsburg and Deer Lodge.

Wonderful home in a great area

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we always enjoy it! It’s a quiet neighborhood near outdoor activities that we love. The house had everything we needed to make our stay super comfortable. We most certainly plan to come back!

Almost perfection

Great property and everything suited us perfectly. We had great access to Discovery and the lake. Appliances were excellent; beds very comfortable - only hitch was when the lawn sprinklers came in I was awoken because one head hits the hot tub which was then rather loud. But honestly we loved the property and will stay again - the sprinkler was just facing the wrong way! One does not know until it comes on.

Undisclosed house issues

Found out no hot tub in working order two days prior(the main amenity), also no ice maker working. We we’re woken up at 4 AM to a water pressure issue that lasted 21/2 hours!! I emailed her and she stated she was aware of it but hoped it wouldn’t bother us! The bbq wasn’t working correctly and wouldn’t get over 300 degrees which took an hour to cook thin meat on. Due to all these issues, we had to cut our only summer vacation off at only one night. Totally disheartening, super expensive one night!!! My daughter flew here from Texas for that!! I am not planning on ever recommending Vrbo to anyone.

My wife and I booked a long weekend to ride 4 wheelers in the Georgetown lake area. This was the second time we’ve stayed at this house and it was just as nice the second time. Very convenient location and they have everything we needed to really enjoy our stay! Looking forward to stay number 3!

Last minute weekend get away!

My wife and I decided to take a last minute long weekend to explore the Georgetown Lake area on our ATV. Stella was quick to respond to our request and very helpful in her directions. The house was awesome! It was stocked with everything in the kitchen that we needed over the weekend. The first part of the weekend was cold and rainy so we spent the evenings in front of the gas fireplace instead of the outdoor fire pit which worked out great! It was also nice to be able to park my pickup in the garage. It wasn't a problem for us, but I thought it was odd that we had to take our garbage with us when we left. It's only a mile to Georgetown Lake and you can ride ATV's right from the house. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. We're looking forward to coming back to explore more of the Georgetown/Philipsburg area! Alan N.

This cabin/rental/house is perfect for our small group. Location is just right along with the amenities. We couldn’t ask for anything more except for maybe a ‘moose spotting’ now and then!!! ;)

Beautiful well kept home!

We loved our stay. The home was well kept. Had a great open concept so everyone could be together. Well stocked kitchen. Our only concern was that we had a difficult time with the deadbolt, which was the only way to lock the front door. It might be good to have a lock and deadbolt. We emailed the owners and they responded quickly. We would recommend this property to others.

Nice cabin, poor communication

The cabin is super nice, close to the activities we came to Montana for, and had more than enough accommodations inside (besides a crock pot the cook was used of having). However, communication from the owner was very disappointing and even became stressful. We took off for vacation a week before arriving in Montana. We were in an area where we did not have cell phone reception. I had contacted the owner a month in advance to communicate this to her as I needed access to the cabin information. She said she would give it to me the week before. I explained this would not be soon enough as we would not be able to retrieve her message and other members of our group would be arriving with food to her cabin prior to our arriving. I understand forest fires supposedly played a part in the lack of communication, however, we felt that this information could have been given to me a month in advance when I reached out to the owner. Instead, I was making phone calls and emails to owner and VRBO days before leaving on our vacation. The day prior to leaving, I was frantically looking for other lodging accommodations. VRBO assured us they would not leave us 'high and dry' - they would put us up in some type of 'motel'. Obviously they do not know the Montana area well. All in all, the cabin is super nice, but we miss the previous owner's organizational/comunication skills. Thank you, Starla Ehrisman
