Our goal was to enjoy a waterfront retreat for easy access to water activities and a quiet vacation in nature. We got exactly that with this property! It offered a private dock at Pinawa Bay, which made using my standup paddleboard/kayak very convenient. There were many games both inside and outside available, though we didn’t make use of them during our short stay. The cabin with its rustic beams and posts was beautiful and way more space than we needed. With a massive deck and multiple seating areas both inside and out, we had ample options for relaxing in full sun with views over the water, in the shade, interior or air conditioned. I also loved the bear themed fixtures throughout. Everything was very comfortable. Our dog loved having 2 acres of land to run off leash and explore. We also took a walk and found hiking trails of Camp Cedarwood, which was a pleasant surprise. The only criticism was the weedy overgrowth in the yard which had a sagging net set up and a variety of balls (soccer, football and bocce ball) and in photos of the property also had a corn hole game which lay on the deck, looking fairly worn/damaged. The weeds growing under the deck also made their way up through the stairs. The glass table and coffee table on the deck were filthy but we didn’t use them or the small balcony off of the upstairs bedroom, which was covered in bird poo. Otherwise the property appeared well taken care of.I would definitely stay here again.
