Beachfront Condo on Los Muertos Beach, Puerto Vallarta / Romantic Zone / Amapas

Our beachfront condo with its own private beach on Puerto Vallarta's famous Playa Los Muertos. This spacious 1,200 sq. ft. condo has two bedrooms, two king beds, and two full baths (walk-in shower/no tub). Kitchen has microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. Nicely furnished, including cable television in living room and master bedroom, washer and dryer, air conditioned (updated with mini-splits as of 12 July 2017), and ceiling fans throughout. Swimming pool is just steps from this first-floor unit's covered patio. Blue Chairs Beach Resort, Mantamar Beach Club, and Sapphire Ocean Club are all nearby. Many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. Gated entry with reception desk 24/7.

The view from Playa Bonita condo building is over Banderas Bay. At 27 miles across, it is the second widest bay in the world. The calm, clear waters provide the perfect backdrop to stunning sunsets that you can see from our patio. December thru March, the bay is home to the spectacular humpback whale. Be sure to schedule a whale watching tour on the bay.
Between June and December, Olive Ridley turtles lay their eggs on the beach. You might be lucky enough to witness baby turtles hatching and making their way to the sea.
Playa Los Muertos is a wide, sandy beach excellent for swimming. Local vendors wander the beach selling their crafts and locally made food. If you don’t want the goods they are offering, simply say, “Gracias, no.”
Los Muertos pier is a favorite fishing spot for the locals. You can arrange for your own fishing expedition from there, or take a water taxi to one of the South Shore villages that are accessible only by boat.

Beautiful place at a great location

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as described and the ocean view from the condo needs to be mentioned as the picture of the listing does not do it justice. Marshall was very responsive prior to our stay and during our stay, We would definitely stay here again

Nice and cozy

We enjoyed are stay, condo was very clean and well kept up. The only downside about this location is the parking situation (there is no parking on site) other then that this is a very nice location for an adult getaway.

Everything we could have asked for...

This was an awesome place to spend our holiday. The condo had everything we could have asked for. It was nice for each of the 2 couples to have their own bedroom and adjoining bathroom. All the staff working there were extremely helpful and friendly. There is a small grocery store just a 5 minutes walk away that had everything we needed and wanted and many quaint restaurants in the area as well. It was so nice that we could walk out onto our patio and be in the pool area. An excellent place to stay. Kaye, Dennis, Chardele & Mel

The description states that you get a beautiful view of the sunset from your patio, that would be true if you weren’t looking through a large amount of electrical lines.There is a bar beneath the pool area that blasts techno music from about 4:00 pm to at least 1:00 am.The location is great to go across the street to the beach and there is a roped off area to sit. I wouldn’t consider it “beachfront” since you have to cross the street and walk past a bar to get there…Bathrooms are nice! Kitchen is adequate. Couch and mattress is uncomfortable.

Terriffic place

Stayed for 14 days with another couple,all in our late sixties visiting from Toronto, Ontario.Marshalls place is wonderful and so is he,any questions we asked were answered within minutes before and during our trip. The condo was very clean,beds very comfortable, nice furniture.Loved being able to open sliding doors to the patio and the pool a couple of steps away.The beach is just across the street and was never too busy,lots of chairs and umbrellas, Blue Chairs bar/restaurant right there for food and drinks when you wanted,they will bring it right to you.Lots of people selling items but when you say no gracias they don't bother you. We took a few ubers to diferent tours but puerto vallarta from the condo is very walkable,either along the Malacon or up the hill to main streets, tons of restaurants and bars and markets throughout, would definitely go again. Thank you again Marshall for letting us stay at your lovely condo. The Madills and the McGregors.

Great Property

Excellent property and location. The complex is a 1 minute walk to the beach where there is a private area for condo guests. This is really great when the beach is crowded. The unit is a spacious ground floor unit and next to the pool, which is very convenient. The outdoor table and chairs are great for a morning coffee and start to the day. All of the expected amenities are provided. Every switch in the unit is labeled as to which device it controls. This is really great in an unfamiliar location. As an experienced international traveler I have never seen this before. It's just one indicator of the thought the owner has put into the property. Would definitely seek out this unit again if we return to this area.

A True Gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marshall's wonderful condo! The condo is very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The private patio just off the pool area was especially nice for early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The building is very secure with a 24 hour attended front desk and id required to be "buzzed in" at the door. The beach is just a few steps away with a private area for guests staying in the condo building. It was nice to always have a palapa and a comfy chair to relax in any time we wanted to! It was just a short walk to the Malecon and Old Town. Taxis and Ubers were readily available, as well. The representative from the property management company was very kind and professional and made check-in and check-out a breeze. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Another Super Month

This is our third consecutive year staying at this condo. The condo is just as described. It is well maintained. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. We love the location because it is across the street from the beach on Banderas Bay. A great store is an easy work from the condo. Though it is small it is well stocked with everything from wine and liquor to fresh fruits and mufins and many food items and fresh made daily food items. Many fine restaurants are within walking distance as well as entertainment venues and fun bars/restaurants in the downtown area. The beautiful Mosaic Park offers a large market with many vendors offering a variety of items to purchase and makes for a fun Saturday outing. The Malecon is fun to walk and offers a variety of stores, restaurants, and more. The condo is in an area that is very active and music, etc. can be heard from noon until late at night but it doesn't bother us. An additional plus to this property is the owner, Marshall. He is friendly and easy to deal with and quickly responds to any questions or concerns. I don't think you will be disappointed. John

i have stayed at many of the condos in this wonderful complex, and several stays in this specific unit. There is nothing negative to say. Perfect location, incredible security, friendly and helpful staff, and all just steps away from the pool, and beach, and the famous malecón. This unit is my favorite because the beds, pillows, and linens are great and the wifi is fantastic, and it has everything needed for a fun and safe stay.

Spacious Setting and Great Location

The unit was very spacious for the four of us. The floor plan allowed each couple to have a bathroom. Being on the first floor was just a few steps from the pool. Having a washer and dryer was so convenient. We were located by outstanding restaurants and the beach.

Nice place! Clean and well kept. Nice Pool!! A little too close to the action for us. Beach area was nice with our own "Private" area. We are retired "Boomer's" and prefer it a little more laid back. Nice place for a younger clientele.

PVR Holiday Trip

Spent a week in PVR at Thanksgiving. This condo is a couple of blocks farther out than we normally stay but it was awesome and well worth the extra steps. It’s pool side so you only need to grab a towel and walk out the door. There is a wonderful ocean view from the wall of windows in the living area. The two bedrooms are large and spacious with adjoining baths. The best part was the management.company and their attentiveness. Jesus answered all our questions and helped us plan outings. He was amazing.

PV condo

The unit was ok although I had the impression it was newer and it wasn't. The property manager was supposed to meet us and he was an hour or so late. The TV had only one stupid English channel. He came back and tried to fix it and said someone would bring a replacement cable box, but never did. The batteries in the door lock expired and it didn;t work. The front desk guys were great and helped. The showers were excellent although the head came off in my hand when I turned it on. Kitchen was fine. a/c was good.

Our first visit to Puerto Vallarta was in March of 2016. We fell in love with the town, the beach, and most of all, its people. My partner and I bought this condo in December, 2016, and we moved to PV, full-time, in September, 2017.

Why they chose this property

As they say, location, location, location. We are right on the beach in the Zona Romantica and we can't think of a better place in Puerto Vallarta to have a vacation home to share with friends, family and guests.

What makes this property unique

Our unit is located on the same level as the swimming pool. You are just a few steps from the patio to the pool. It has the added benefit of being on the first floor (which is above street level), so there are no stairs or elevators needed to reach our apartment. This makes it an excellent choice for older guests who prefer not to climb stairs.
