Roaring River fishing trip
We had a great stay at the cabin for our annual fishing trip at Roaring River State park. The cabin was very comfortable, clean and very convenient, being only about a mile from the park. We live over 2 hours away and love your cabin and our fishing trip.

Conveniently located
This was a great little find when booking a fishing weekend for the family! The owner is very easy to reach with any questions and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We had lots of family staying in the park and needed another cabin that was close that allowed dogs and this fit perfectly! It is maybe a minute up the hill from the Lodge at Roaring River.

Thank you for the wonderful review 😊
Great stay came for a few days of fishing an hiking. After reading reviews about traffic noise was concerned but it wasn’t an issue.

What a beautiful little cabin!
We had a wonderful stay, and the owners are very nice and helpful. There is a larger cabin on the same property that is gorgeous as well. I definitely recommend them.

From the owner: "We’re glad to hear you found the property clean and comfortable. We understand the concern about windows and are already planning to add a new front door to help bring in more natural light. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again."
We really enjoyed our stay. It was just as the picture show. Quiet location. Only complaint is the water pressure was very low so it was difficult to rinse out my hair in the shower. Otherwise it was one of the best places we have ever stayed at
The cabin was very clean and cozy. Very easy to find. It is right off the highway so there is highway noise, but a large portion of places to stay in this area are like this. Great location - it is only a mile from the river. There is a large area behind the house/houses that corn hole boards could be set up or kids can ran around. If you have more than just one family, look into renting both houses. They are only a couple feet from each other with a shared deck. Also there is an area in the back for a fire. Great find! Will absolutely stay again!

Caroline, we are so glad that you enjoyed our little cabin and we hope you can come back to see us soon. Thank you for the wonderful review!
nice property. pictures are accurate depiction. basically a cabin with amenities. It is important to note that the "shared" back deck has windows directly into the other cabin on site making it not good to share unless the others are very friendly. The backdoor to this cabin also had issues opening and closing and it would stick in place. Overall, a nice place to stay that matches the pictures and description.
The cabin was adorable and very clean. However it is right off highway 112. We could hear every car that drove by. There were almost no additional amenities provided. Which I guess isn’t required just have stayed at many others that set my expectations a little higher.

Hi Tricia, we're glad to hear you found the cabin adorable and clean. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-We apologize if the proximity to the highway disturbed your stay. We'll ensure this information is clearly noted in our listing to set accurate expectations.-We list all available amenities in the description, but we are open to adding more based on guest suggestions. Please let us know what additional amenities would enhance your stay. Feel free to contact me anytime.Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
JUst up the hill from the trout park. Very new-ish feeling. Great beds. Communication with manager was very good. Did not get to enjoy the outside much due to rain. Heat and A/C worked well. Only minor blemish was a lot of ladybugs in the house and low water pressure. PLace was exactly as advertised. Enjoyed and will be back when visiting Roaring River and Cassville.

Great stay in charming cabin
The cabin was awesome. Great location, beautiful decor and wonderful amenities. I will definitely book again when I am in the area. My only minor complaint is that there wasn't enough hot water to fill and use the hot tub. When I filled the tub, I ran out of hot water when the water level was halfway between the bottom of the tub and the jacuzzi jets. By the time the tub had filled with enough water to use the tub, the water temperature was too cold for a jacuzzi soak. This was consistent all three nights I tried to use the hot tub.
I felt I was misled and we were the only ones that were going to be on the property. But instead we were in the lesser cabin with no stove well there’s another cabin 2 feet away from us and we had to share the deck and the fire pit with them very poor set up in my opinion I will never stay there again. Both cabins were beautiful. Nothing wrong with the accommodations. I just shouldn’t have two groups staying that close together to each other especially for that price.

not quite everything
First its a cute property. Very noisy close to a busy road. You have a shared deck. But its on the other property. Apparently since its attached to the other cabin occupants lay claim to it. Zero water pressure. Stated it had a refrigerator. Its a tiny 3ft high motel refrigerator. Not enough towels and wash cloths for 2 people 6 nights. The bedroom behind night stands pretty nasty. Found a pkg of rotted pepperoni under living area coffee table found on search looking for something misplaced. I ended deathly ill and got sick on bedspread. There are no hose outlets or anyplace to rinse it out! This place is ok for 1 or 2 nights. But it cannot accommodate a week visit.

Hi Allison, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:-We apologize for the lack of towels and washcloths. In the future, guests are encouraged to reach out for additional supplies as needed.-There is an outside water faucet by the covered parking area that can be used for rinsing items.-We are aware of the proximity to the road and the shared deck, and we are working on providing a separate deck for Cabin B to improve guest privacy.-The listing accurately states that the property includes a kitchenette with a mini fridge. -We've addressed the water pressure issue, there was an issue with the inner value, and it has been fixed.Thank you for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!
