Working Holiday

This is a beautiful property just a couple of steps away from the river. Wish we could have made better use of the stunning location but due to work commitments we were unable to.

Less relaxing than we would have hoped for

The location was great and the home had potential for a relaxing stay, however, our time was unfortunately disrupted by a significant dishwasher leak early in the booking. We reported it promptly and followed the host’s request to re-test, but the leak happened again, resulting in water damage and extra clean-up during our stay. While the host communicated with us, the issue did impact the comfort and ease we had hoped for on our holiday.In addition, we didn’t feel comfortable with the CCTV monitoring and the frequent messages from the owner during our stay, even though the booking was made through Stayz. We were also disappointed to be accused of damaging an item that we did not break. These aspects combined meant the experience was less relaxing than we had anticipated.
