Welcome to Skyline Chalet, a newly built cabin just minutes from The Gorge Underground and surrounded by breathtaking views of the Red River Gorge. Located in a newly developed cabin community, this retreat is perfect for nature lovers seeking modern comfort and unforgettable scenery.

From the moment you arrive, enjoy sweeping mountain views from the back porch and balcony. Inside, the cabin is bright and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and productivity. Play a game of foosball upstairs, unwind by the gas fireplace, or work remotely at the desk with a computer monitor.

We had a great stay! There were 3 adults and 2 kids, and we were all very comfortable. The location was very convenient for us (we hiked a few trails and visited the Gorge Underground). The cabin was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. The only suggestion for improvement I had was for the dining chairs to receive a little attention (the legs on all the chairs were loose and wobbly).

Our stay was okay but could have been better. Our original check in time was pushed back an hour which was inconvenient but tolerable. Upon arrival, found mold growing in the coffee pot from old grounds not being cleaned out. Also, the water had a noticeable stench of sewage both from the faucets and the showers; half our party declined to shower the last day to avoid it. Lots of gnats so bring bug spray. Our bed was marketed as a queen but more like a full.

We appreciate the detailed feedback and are sorry several aspects of the stay fell short. Unfortunately our team was running behind, but we understand that changing an expected arrival time is still inconvenient and we understand why this would be upsetting. More importantly, the coffee maker should have been thoroughly checked during the turnover, and we apologize that old grounds were missed. We’re also taking the reported water odor seriously and will have that reviewed. While rural properties can occasionally have differences in water odor or quality depending on their water source, an odor described this strongly warrants attention. The cabin’s wooded setting can also mean seasonal gnats occasionally make an appearance, but we appreciate knowing when activity seems excessive. We will also confirm the mattress dimensions against the listing to make sure there is no discrepancy. Thanks so much for staying with us and for giving us an opportunity to review these concerns.

Great Stay in RRG, great location!

The cabin was fantastic! Very roomy for our family of 6 with an open concept on the main floor and bedrooms upstairs. We also enjoyed the foosball table upstairs. Plus the view from the deck was beautiful!

Wonderful chalet

We absolutely loved the view from the back porch. We were lucky enough to get a couple of thunderstorms which are amazing when you are at the gorge. Definitely recommend this beautiful property.
