Check-in was welcoming and easy! Front desk staff were courteous and helpful. He told us that due to the lack of A/C he had been into the condo and opened the windows to cool it down, he had also put fans in the two smaller bedrooms. Having been warned by previous comments of stifling heat in the condo, this had been our concern and our first impressions were not great - it was very hot inside! However, we opened every window that could be opened, including the French doors onto the small balcony. Switched on the ceiling fans in the master bedroom and the living area. The first night was still a little warm, it had been a very hot day - but leaving most of the windows open at night and during the day meant that it cooled down and was comfortable for the remainder of our stay. I would rather be able to open windows than have to use A/C when sleeping.
The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and we slept very well! It was lovely to be in the mountains - I loved the views from the master bedroom balcony and the living room. We did not eat in the condo, other than breakfast as we preferred to be outside. However, the small kitchen was well equipped.
There was quite a lot of construction going on at Snowmass, thankfully our condo was a little further up the road from the new construction, and we were relieved that we had not paid a fortune to be right next to the construction site like some of the apartments - with open windows the noise would have been terrible.
The condo was very clean and housekeeping was available every day - though we declined it most days. The swimming pool and hot tub were a welcome perk at the end of the day after hiking or mountain biking - and a fun spot to watch the last mountain bikers coming down the mountain!
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
