Needs some attention
Management company is a call center off site and are not good at communicating when there's a problem. We had to call 4 times during our stay. 3 out of the 4 calls never called us back with an update. The 4th apparently did call, but called our home.Power went out while there, the emergency generator didn't work, the gas fireplace was not able to be lit in an emergency situation. Also, there were no back up candles, radio or flashlight. After 6 hours Generac came out and fixed the generator, and the power came back on. Maintenance did tell us however, that if it failed, it wouldn't come back on because they had to hotwire it. Several outlets in the home did not work out of the 10 pans in the kitchen, non were safe to cook in, None were safe to cook in as the non stick was terribly scratched. The DVR in the kitchen doesn't work, and there is no cable here, just movies. The wifi was disconnected from the wall when we arrived. There is no telephone service at the house, so when we had issues we had to leave to call Meredith management. The one saving grace was the Maintenance crew. They were great and kept us updated on things. There isn't a hairdryer in the entire house, that's standard on a rental. A few lights didn't work or partially worked. Maintenance said that the owners have been told about problems, but they aren't willing to make repairs. The house info book is generic and not specific to the house, so when the fireplace went out, was no help at all.
