The place worked perfect for my buddy and I on our ice fishing trip. Close to bait shop, resorts, fuel and grocery store. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. House was very toasty and warm in the cold weather. I would definitely stay here again on returning to Baudette, MN

From the minute we arrived for our 3-night stay, we knew the choice was right to stay at Happy House. A very quiet, comfortable place that is very clean and welcoming. Check-in and check-out was very simple.The bonus was getting to meet owners who provided much local information and insights to an area we visited for first time.

Very happy with our stay.

I stayed here for a week with my cousin for a fishing trip and we were both very happy with everything about this property. Everything is updated, kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything needed for the stay and the bedrooms/beds were extremely comfortable. The check in/check out process and communication with owner was extremely smooth. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The property was well maintained and close to town. It was very easy to communicate with the property manager. The only complaint is that the 2 double beds are not very comfortable especially if you have 2 people sleeping in one. But for our short stay we made it work.

Nice place! Great location and size for our family’s stay as we were in town for a funeral. Unfortunately, the AC wasn’t working but the host tried her best to make things right. Reason for 4 stars is because the furniture wasn’t very comfortable, but maybe the fact that I was 36 weeks pregnant in a hot house didn’t help 😅

Convenient location, warm colorful house

It was very convenient to walk from the house into town. Baudette has a great coffee shop to work in and a very friendly community! The house was clean, warm, and well-stocked with towels and basic kitchen tools. The beds were comfortable. There wasn't super comfortable furniture in the living room but it was very cute and got the job done.

Central and Delightful place to stay...

This property was well cared for and wonderfully decorated for warmth and charm, easy walking to the hospital (1 block) and (3 blocks), management was delightful and responsive. This quaint downtown cottage was a God-send during a very difficult time of attending a struggling loved one at the hospital in Baudette, and I don't know we would have come through our multi-week vigil without it. And many wonderful memories with family and friends popping by as we journeyed through a difficult time. We are deeply grateful for this lovely place.
