We found this townhome to be in great condition, very clean and extremely peaceful. Just enough space for our family of 5 including teens. Make sure to bring beach towels and beach equipment to store under the house near the very convenient outside shower. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming Townhouse in Buxton

My family and I booked this as a somewhat last minute rental. The home was very clean, very well maintained and had everything we needed. The location couldn't be beat and the owners were accommodating for "off schedule" rental days (as we like to avoid traveling in / out on traditional turnover days).

Anchor Down was a great stay. The place was clean and inviting. Close to the beach, the sound, good eats, and the lighthouse. Beds were comfortable and clean. Easy in and out and the outdoor shower is a great bonus to wash off sand. We liked that we can park underneath so our vehicle didn't get too hot. Our kid said "it was awesome"! We'd definitely consider renting again if we are in the area. Thank you!

Wonderful trip
