Very clean and comfortable. Close enough to everything you need, including shops, food markets and restaurants. Less than a five minute walk to the beach. Just a short boat ride to many great fishing spots. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Extremely friendly neighbors. The perfect place for what we want in a Hatteras vacation. We didn't want to leave. Definitely looking forward to our next stay.

Thank you so much for the amazing stay in your house in Hatterus! Our family had an amazing time! The house is clean, open and perfect for experiencing the OBX! It is updated and very cozy! The dock in front of the property is fun to see crabs, fish, stingrays and even a small shark came through at dusk! It is very family friendly with plenty of comfortable seating!

Overall lovely stay. Very close to the beach (about a five minute walk). There were a few ants, which did not bother us but might annoy others, they were very small and no where near the kitchen, so not a big deal. The grill was especially clean which was a nice surprise since they're often quite dirty and the water pressure was great. Bring your own beach equipment since the house didn't have some of the stuff that is often supplied, but the kitchen was better stocked than the norm, so overall good for us.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again! The house is cute, comfortable, and in a perfect location tucked into a quiet, friendly community directly across from a private marina with easy water access. There was plenty of parking for our vehicle and kayak trailer, and we loved relaxing on the balcony each evening to enjoy the sound view and beautiful sunsets. (Bring bug spray if visiting in the summer!)The home was exceptionally well stocked with cookware, cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other essentials, which made our week-long stay very easy. The outdoor rinse-off shower attached to the home was a huge plus after sandy beach days. We also appreciated the owner’s quick response in providing extra paper towels and bath towels when requested.A couple of minor areas for improvement: the main shower drain tended to back up during use, and we noticed some pet hair on the furniture and linens despite the home being listed as pet-free. The home otherwise appeared clean, and neither issue took away from our overall experience.Overall, this is a charming home in a fantastic Hatteras location, and we would happily recommend it to others.

Had a great stay. Only issue was that the twin beds are pull outs in the living room and I didn’t find the walk on beach access. Did drive to a close by handicapped access as one of my party has trouble walking long distances.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the round house in Hatteras! Everything was very clean and comfortable and everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and even had spices we used when we prepared dinner in. The location was perfect - close to all dining and activities in a lovely neighborhood. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the sunset over the sound.Gil was a wonderful host and a great communicator. Will definitely stay again.

This place was awesome I would rent it again I give a 5 star rating the only issue I had with the place was the porch there needs to be a gate on the porch for children so they don’t fall down the stairs, this was the only downside about it I had to constantly be up chasing my 18 month grandson so he wouldn’t fall down the steps because there isn’t a gate but other than that it was great so please add a gate at the top of stairs
