A short or long stay at Banksia Terrace is always rewarding with a peaceful tranquility and the ultra-contemporary facilities of this gorgeous beachside apartment.

Watch whales, dolphins, seals & sea eagles from the terrace & with nothing but banksias between you & the sea, wake up slowly to the sound of the surf & the birds. Wander past stunning views on your way to the famous Pickled Octopus restaurant or the iconic Boat Shed café for fish and chips, beer, wine and great coffee.

Banksia Terrace is one very modern bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and generous living space. A cot and high chair can also easily be supplied. The whole space is fully self-contained and very contemporary, with clean Scandinavian lines, reverse cycle air, new bathroom and kitchen - cook top, dishwasher, microwave (no oven), Nespresso coffee machine and clothes washer/dryer. All bed linen and bath towels are supplied.

Banksia Terrace is quiet and private - only you, banksias, beach, birds, kangaroos & echidnas.

Also supplied - a gas BBQ, WiFi, Netflix, Blue Tooth sound, bird feeder/bath .. the wattle birds are quite the local characters.

Tuross Head is a quiet seaside community which is famous for its oysters, fishing and pristine waterways. Tuross Head is centrally located to explore many of the South East's natural wildlife beauties such as Montague Island, The Bingi Dreaming Track and Eurobodalla & Deua National Parks.

For those who are looking for a bit more adventure, check out Skydive Oz located in Moruya, and the brand new mountain bike tracks in Mogo & Dalmeny.

Banksia Terrace is located in popular 'Old Tuross' and is just a short enjoyable stroll to the local shopping precinct, the boatshed eateries, boardwalk and cycleway and Tuross Lake.

Perfect beach getaway

A great location for the perfect beach getaway. We particularly loved sitting on the front patio when we weren’t spending time at the beach. We can’t wait to visit Tuross Head again!

T&A Tuross Head March 2024

We stayed for only two nights but could have stayed longer. A quiet spot - we even had a visit from a family of kangaroos grazing next door at dusk! The property is very well set up and equipped - exactly as presented on the website. Everything that you would need for a short stay. Agents very helpful. Spectacular beach and lake scenery in the area.

Restful getaway

We arrived to pick up the keys from real estate, gave us the keys, no ID checked. Asked for directions as we did not know where property was situated. Gave us a map and vague details - no address. Eventually found property, looked like linen change over had not happened. Quick phone call and linen service arrived. Apparently unit was not on roster. Owner upstairs did not know there was a booking. Owner gave a bottle of wine for the trouble. Very spacious unit, with everything well appointed. Hop, skip and a jump to the lovely beaches. Pickled Onion fabulous restaurant, make sure to book a table. Loved this little spot. Would book again despite the initial check in upset. 😊

Perfect getaway

Lovely location and the perfect place to explore the coast. The apartment had everything we needed and was bigger than we expected. Would love to come back again to stay.
