The Space:
Villa Atlántico Pez is a trendy 2 bedroom - 1 bathroom apartment located in the heart of Dorado. It is a part of the Atlántico complex, which includes four additional boutique apartments also available for rent: Villa Atlántico Mar, Villa Atlántico Sol, Villa Atlántico Pez, and Villa Atlántico Sal (Studio).
Villa Atlántico Pez is just a 5-7 minute walk to one of Puerto Rico’s most beautiful public beaches - “Dorado Public Beach” - and steps away from restaurants and bars.
These modern and eclectic units feature outdoor semi-private areas where guests can enjoy a cooling swim in the plunge pool or simply relax after a day mingling around the beach or the nearby establishments. Villa Atlántico Pez features air conditioning throughout the entire unit (on 10/20/2024 an AC unit was installed in the living room), WI-FI access, parking for one vehicle, and a washer (no dryer).
This is an ideal spot for groups looking to explore the island of Puerto Rico.

LIVING AREA
Once you enter Villa Atlántico Pez you will be greeted by the completely remodeled living room. You will love the comfortable layout and thoughtful decor of this space. The living area features a sectional sofa, an armchair, and a flat-screen smart TV, all in a cozy modern ambiance.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: On 10/25/2024, an AC unit was installed in the living room, thus making the entire apartment fully air-conditioned.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Villa Atlántico Pez comfortably sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed with a nightstand, armchair, full-size mirror, and a full-size closet to accommodate your belongings in an organized fashion. The second bedroom has a full-size bed and features a desk and a closet. There is a completely renovated and modern bathroom with a standing shower in the hallway, conveniently located between the two bedrooms.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Villa Atlántico Pez features a full designer’s kitchen integrated within the living space. This newly renovated kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils, a fridge, a 4-burner stove, a microwave, a toaster oven, and a coffee maker. The kitchen island has comfortable seating for four guests.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
The property includes space for one (1) vehicle.
Renting a car is a must when staying in Dorado. You will need one to move around to nearby restaurants, shops, and beaches as well as to explore the rest of the island. Ubers are not readily available in the area and should not be depended on.
LOCATION
Villa Atlántico Pez is located in the beautiful town of Dorado. This town has great charm and it is a 45-minute drive from San Juan and the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport. Atlántico Pez has restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops all within a short ride away.
Besides enjoying the beautiful villa and all amenities on offer, there are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:
Explore the local culinary scene with everything from local Puerto Rican food to excellent Italian and Asian options.
Chill at the beach! The Dorado Public Beach is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at Villa Atlántico Pez. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for a long day at the beach. You can also drive to Cerro Gordo Beach which is also a long sandy beach well protected from swell and is a 5-minute drive from the villa.
Explore the Camuy Caves – a huge cave system about an hour's drive away that is home to the third-longest underwater river in the world.
Spend a day in Old San Juan, a 35-minute drive away and the oldest city in all of the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food, drinks, and shopping to enjoy!

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 4 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

Starting 5 days before arrival, your designated Property Manager will also be available to answer any additional questions you may have prior to arrival. You’ll get all the essential property information 48 hours before arrival, as well as the Property Manager’s direct contact, so you’ll have support when you need it - before, during, and after your stay.
