Nice place. Clean, cool in the heat, easy access. Council Bluffs Lake has no east side access except for hiking from Belgrade side. You will need to travel back north, west, then south to get to the lake beach and bike trails. However, you are closer to Elephant Rocks and Johnson Shut-ins at Belgrade than if you stayed on the west side of the lake. One thing lacking is a good wood or charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.
Our stay at the Belgrade getaway was stunning in every way. Lovely surroundings with nearby National Forest hiking and rockhounding venues all around. The house was fully equipped and immaculately clean. The only ding was that we couldn't get the TV to work for more than a few minutes due to losing connectivity with their server. We weren't there to watch TV, though, so that was a very minor issue.

Hiking weekend stay
There was a miscommunication of some sort, as when we showed up on Saturday we couldn’t get in. Kimberly quickly came to help us out. Apparently she was unaware we were staying there over the weekend. She quickly made the bed, though, and everything was fine. The shower was leaking, but again Kimberly was very responsive and sent out some help to fix it. Other than those inconveniences, everything else went well. Nice place. Quiet and relaxing!

Charming Vacation Rental: Great Stay!
Had the opportunity (one of the first ever I believe!) to stay in this charming vacation rental, and frankly, it was our pleasure to be there! It had all we (myself, my wife, and our two sons, 9 & 11) needed for our stay. It was very clean, very well maintained/managed, offered all the amenities listed, and was so peaceful and quiet. (I'm not even sure there were other neighbors around, that's how quiet it was!) The bed was very comfortable, the boys loved the pull-out couch and automatically-reclining chairs. Kitchen had everything we needed (appliances/plates/etc.), the fridge is full-sized if you want to bring your own groceries, and the front porch/views were great. The owners were available and engaged with every request we had. They even shared the history of the house and area, which was cool to learn about. We stayed two nights, and couldn't be happier. We have family in the area, so we will Absolutely stay here again!
This very cool place was surprisingly easy to find considering how remote it feels. I arrived pretty late at night and the owners checked on me prior to arrival and turned on lights to make it easier for me to find which was very appreciated. The house itself is very cozy and clean and well stocked with items you may need during your stay. The bed was super comfortable and I slept amazingly all three nights I was there. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the deck and listening to the sounds of nature and watching the night sky. The lack of light pollution in the area allows you to see a lot more stars and planets and satellites than I am normally able. The checkout list is small and very simple. Oh! I almost forgot. I'm 6'4" and this place has a shower head that I can actually fit under! This isn't a problem for most people but it's really nice to have. The next time I am in the area. I will for sure be using the services of these owners again. All of the stars!
