Lake level is up and at full pool! Spend your weeks or weekends on Lake Lanier fishing, boating, and entertaining on the single slip party dock! This charming 3600 square foot cabin home is deceptively large! Renovated open floor plan concept with Great Room featuring tin ceiling from Peachtree Records in Atlanta! Pot Belly Stove can heat the entire home! Lake Lanier views from three levels including the screened in porch. 4 bedrooms, plus a bonus room and 3 full bathrooms, gives you plenty of room for the entire family and your friends! Quick access to GA 400 means a short ride to shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions such as Dahlonega, Atlanta Motorsports track in Dawsonville, Cleveland and Helen. Features upgraded gig speed wifi with unlimited data!!!

The home is on the shoreline and nestled in the trees with a view of the lake from all three levels. The upstairs "crow's nest" deck is just off the King Bedroom and offers breathtaking morning and evening views of the woods and lake while you sit and drink your coffee or adult beverage in the covered siting area. The Screened porch off the main level provides views for the entire family, and the covered downstairs patio has seating for 12 around the patio table plus room for more. Stainless steel propane grill is ready to cook anything you imagine. You can also roast up some marshmallows around the fire pit and make up some s'mores for dessert. The home is located between two very convenient lake Lanier recreational parks, each with boat ramps. Nix Bridge to the South and Toto Creek to the North and only minutes away. There are several marinas nearby. You can rent a boat from one the close by marinas, or bring your own, (lake levels permitting)*. We also have a 4 person paddle boat at the dock which guests can use free of charge.

Very easy walk from the home to the lake.

The kids (kids of all ages) can enjoy the pro-level foosball table and the Wii system in the gaming room at basement level. 2 big couches and an ottoman give them plenty of room.

Excellent property. We had plenty of room for our whole family. Loved swimming in the lake and fishing. We were also close to some great shopping. We felt like we were far away from everything but were still able to go do things if we wanted to.

Loving the memories!

Such a peaceful, quiet area. Easy to get to and close to restaurants and shopping. Perfect for me, my grown kids and grandkids with lots of room and plenty of things to do. We made some great memories!

The place was exactly as described. Suoer clean. Owner is very friendly and went above and beyond the call to make my stay comfortable. Extremely quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Will likely stay again in the future.

Nice cabin with a nice lake.

Cozy cabin with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Michael the owner, was so thoughtful and very helpful.

Fabulous place!!!

We had a group of 6 which was just family. We made this a Christmas trip and the cabin was perfect for us. We all had our own bedroom and we had plenty of space to spread out. The cabin's floor plan was wonderful. We had so much fun playing games on the huge dining room table. I would recommend this place very highly. The view was gorgeous and I would love to go back in warm weather. We had deer visitors and so enjoyed watching them and all the beautiful squirrels climbing the trees. Helen and Dahlonega were very close by and we enjoyed visiting the towns and enjoying the Christmas tree lighting. Restaurants very close by as well and of course the outlet shopping. Our host was very accomodating and easy to get hold up. Loved the whole trip. I would give this a 10++++++

Thanksgiving family gathering.

This Lake Lanier cabin was the perfect place for a family gathering. With 10 adults we had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped for our making meals and dinner. We enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch, playing games at the table and walking down to the lake. Michael even sent us a text to let us know about a holiday tree lighting nearby. It was a wonderful getaway. I would definitely recommend this property.

We had 11 people, ranging in age from 3 months to 70 years, stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday. What a fabulous rental house! The pictures don't do it justice. When we arrived it was spotlessly clean. The five bedrooms accommodated our group well--note that three of the bedrooms have bunk beds, so some are better for children. The kitchen/living areas are spacious and the porches are amazing. Thanks to the owners for a great stay.

Good Lake House

Rented it out with a group of friends for 4th of July weekend. House is not massive but also not too small, its just the right size for a small group at a reasonable price. The dock is also nice. We enjoyed our stay and the deck with the mosquito netting is great that way you can enjoy the outdoors at night without getting massacred by the mosquitoes. They also provide you with a binder with instructions on what is where in the house and how to use certain features, so you don't fumble around the house like a stranger. Owner was easy to talk to and is reasonable if your transparent with him. He even gave us an earlier check-in and check-out time that was originally agreed, which was great. Would book again.

Great week at the Lake

Our stay at this lake property was amazing. We stayed for 4 nights with 11 people - there was plenty of space for our group. The kids had a great time fishing, paddle boating and catching fireflies! The adults enjoyed evening out on the screened in porch. We took advantage of the pontoon boat available to rent and had two great days tubing on the lake! Mike made sure we were prepared for the lake. There were plenty of towels and beds and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. We had a great time.

Just what we needed

So good. Thers just so much good about this rental. The owners are fantastic, check in was a breeze, the house was better than expected, easy access up 400, you feel so secluded but still have access to groceries or shopping very close, everything in the house worked, everything was clean, etc... etc... etc... I rent houses through VRBO several times a year and all over the place and the owners of this house are by far the nicest and most accomidating that I have encountered. I plan to return in the very near future.

Wonderful Cabin Retreat Any Time of Year!

We were there for my daughter's wedding at R Ranch. I have 5 siblings from all over the country so I needed accommodations for several families. The house has 3 levels of living space so perfect for adults/young adults, kids, etc. Plenty of kitchen ware (utensils, flatware, cookware, dishes, etc.) The owner was very responsive to our needs. That is major when one is entering a strange place for the first time. We are very careful and considerate about other peoples' property; probably overly cautious; better to ask than to break. The back of the house has a large screened in deck that is absolutely serene and beautiful (it looks just like the pic!) The only negative is that we weren't there long enough to really enjoy everything this house had to offer. So in conclusion, we would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome Host-Fabulous Home

Michael & his wife Nikki were wonderful to work with and they bent over backwards to work us in for a last minute stay. They also answered our endless questions from places to eat and places to go to how to find things in the home. They were the best hosts! The house had everything and the ability to have 3 floors with so many rooms and spaces for kids to parents to grandparents made it a perfect place for 3 generations to spend a few days. The house was stocked with books & DVD's and the WII downstairs had some fun games for our one rainy morning. The back porch downstairs had a huge table to eat dinner one night and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. The screened in porch was enjoyed immensely as you felt like you were in a tree house. The proximity to grocery, restaurants and shopping was literally 10 minute drive. The boat was a great bonus to rent one day to venture on the lake. My youngest caught a wide mouth bass and a catfish right off the dock though! I would advise that if you have elderly members with any walking issues that they would need guidance to walk the path to the dock due to some heavy rain that has disrupted the path. The backyard is so peaceful. We miss it already! Hope to visit again! Thank you for a nice escape Michael & Nikki!

Nice accommodations if you can or are willing to be almost completely unplugged

Location on the lake & use of the Single Slip dock & party deck for fishing & hanging out was great. Ability to rent their 20' pontoon was convenient, though pontoon won't pull kids on tube as stated b/c motor is just too small (50 HP). Loved the Rustic cabin feel and lay-out. Great set-up for 3-4 small families, which is what we were looking for, except not enough comfortable (non Twin) beds for adults. Cabin sleeps 13, but all the bedrooms but 2 are filled with Twins. Only one King and one Queen bed, the rest Twins or Twin over a full. Sleeping arrangements worked out well with all the kids being able to stay together downstairs in the two rooms full of Twins. But a couple of adults had to sleep on very uncomfortable Twins in one of the upstairs bedrooms. A comfortable Queen bed in the 2nd upstairs bedroom for adults next to the MBR would be nice. Several complained of the mattresses being hard as a rock and noisy (plastic lining) every time you shifted in the bed, stating "it was like sleeping on a noisy rock". There was no cell at this location to make phone calls or texts to or from anyone until you got out on the lake a good distance or drove down the road a couple miles, which made it very inconvenient when trying to communicate with others timely. The Wifi was very slow and spotty. You are only given a few GB if previous guest didn't use them up. And neither of these (important) things was mentioned in the description which made it very difficult to get work done for those of us that had some work to do or needed to check in occasionally. There is only a drawer-type dishwasher so clean-up after meals for 3 families was very time-consuming. A full size dishwasher would have helped. The stacked W/D is located in the kitchen. Dryer didn't work well. It took 2-3 cycles for small load of towels to dry. We really enjoyed hanging out on the downstairs porch w/ seating for 10-12, visiting with friends and cooking out on the gas grill, but some burners didn't work & some knobs didn't turn. There is enough parking for about 4 cars but making it difficult to turn-around. More parking area would make that easier. Would also be great and more convenient for locals renting if small pets were allowed w/ an additional pet deposit. Overall we had a great time despite some of the small inconveniences. As discussed with the nice owners that live next door, some of these suggestions & upgrades to this cabin would make it the perfect vacation place!

Michael, our host, was extremely helpful and polite. He answered any questions almost immediately and offered suggestions as well. The house was as expected. Large enough for all of us; the kitchen had everything we needed; chech-in process was very simple as were the checkout instructions. We didn't utilize the dock but our visit was to see our niece and great-niece.

Group Stay for Wedding

The property was as described and pictured. Michael offered helpful information about the area and responded quickly when I had a question. I can't really comment on the amenities of the unit as we were only there to sleep and get dressed for both days of our stay. We enjoyed the view and watching the wildlife from the beautiful screened in porch. It accommodated our group of 5 (2 couples and one single adult) comfortably. There is no cell service here, if that's something that is important to you. It wasn't an issue for us. We were able to connect to the internet for wifi calling and texting. Would recommend.

Great place to make memories!

What an amazing place to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family. The property was just as portrayed in the listing. It was clean and provided all that we needed. Check in and out were painless. Best of all was the host, Michael. He answered every question promptly and gave us lots of information about the area. We would definitely recommend it! Made wonderful memories there!

Living on the lake and have enjoyed it so much that I felt strongly that others should also have the opportunity to experience this lifestyle. With this in mind, I purchased a nearby home from the original owners and upgraded key areas while leaving the lake charm intact in others.

Why they chose this property

On the lake but only minutes from civilization! Outlets and major grocery stores only 10 minutes away.

What makes this property unique

The country charm, along with nearby city amenities and shopping make this an ideal location. The "Crow's nest" covered balcony / nook allows for a chance to get away from city life, but you are still connected via the Wifi and Direct TV satellite provided. The screened porch is big enough for everyone to enjoy. The house has stained glass windows through out, cedar paneling through out and the tin ceiling from the old Capitol records building in Atlanta. Extras include a thermo-electric wine cooler, a George Foreman grill, coffee maker & electric tea kettle. Full set of dishes and silverware for 12. Microwave, Stove, Refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. Central heat and A/C along with a Cast Iron Pot Bellied stove which can keep the entire house warm on those cold N. Georgia nights.

Fresh bedding with allergy protection covers on every mattress. Plenty of towels.
