Built in the early 1900s, the one thing that has not changed is its majestic RIVERFRONT view of the Cheat River. Like generations past, you can sit on the furnished, screened porch and watch the river roll by, or try your luck at catching supper.. Adjacent to the Monongahela National Forest. Hot tub. Nothing better exists for those needing access for fishing, kayaking, and tubing. as its at your front door. It's a quick 10 minute drive to the Greenbrier-Durbin scenic train depot in Elkins. Hike & X-County ski the Monongahela National Forest. 23 miles to downhill skiing.

The personalized linens, and attractive décor add a special touch to make the Rhododendron unique, and one of a kind. Two bedrooms on the main floor have a queen bed, and the loft has a set of twins. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the essentials, to include dinnerware that matches the décor. Remodeled to provide all of the modern appointments you would expect to find in a charming mountain getaway, it includes forced air heat, air conditioning, cable TV. Additional fans, a charcoal barbecue grill, and picnic table are provided.

Because of its close proximity to the water, the Rhododendron is not the best choice for young children, or toddlers.
