The cabin was stunning, very accommodating lots of natural sunlight. Provided all the conveniences needed for the stay. Only concern was the precarious staircase leading to the cabin and to the water, otherwise a beautiful peaceful place along the water. I thoroughly enjoyed.

Cute little cottage with all necessary amenities within. Dock area is quiet, and with no neighbours across the river, it has a gorgeous uninterrupted view. Cottage is kept clean although some ants made their way into the kitchen & bathroom. Overall we had a nice stay!
Great communication and beautiful cottage. Incredibly cozy with a much needed AC, plenty of games and things to do. Water was warm and clear at the river, though the trek up and down was a bit steep. Excited to return again!

Went with my boyfriend for a couple of days. Beautiful view of the water down the hill. So nice and cozy. Definitely going again! They had stuff we needed to use for our cooking. Absolutely loved it!

Property needed some upgrading. House access was challenging and the outdoor pathway needed lighting. Otherwise it was nice.
Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. All basic comforts of home were available, the cabin was clean, and we were more than impressed. Would have loved to have had access to the sun porch, but understandably not in use over winter. We have family in the area, and would love to stay here again next time we visit. Hopefully there will be some availability to do so! Looking forward to a swim off the dock and a bonfire next time!Honestly, even our teens enjoyed the quiet and quaint of the cabin. Definitely recommend!

Rustic and very basic. Not particularly clean or well-equipped, but manageable. Our main complaint is that the property description gave no indication of how steep and difficult the steps down from the parking area to the cottage were for bringing things for the stay, and no indication that the steps and slope down from the cottage to the water were so hard for seniors to manage more than once per day. Our hopes of sitting on the dock for most of the day and being able to go back and forth to the cottage didn't materialize. We were three single ladies but only one bed was made up and there didn't appear to be any sheets for the other beds. On the positive side, the WiFi was good and there were plenty of clean towels and bottled water provided. In spite of the negatives, we had a good time, but would not go there again.

Thank you for your review and sorry about the slope not friendly for seniors that can be seen online cottage photos. All clean bed sets like mattress cover, a flat sheet for queen bed blanket and a duvet cover at other three single beds (duvet not blanket, zipped cover there so flat sheet not necessary), and two pillows covers at each bed were all changed before each visit. Welcome instruction tells about the clean towels and bed sets were provided.
Thanks for your group enjoyed the happy time there.
