This adorable home was clean and well stocked with minor essentials. The hosts provided snacks for our children, fresh flowers to welcome us in and had everything easily accessible!
One of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had. The house was comfortable and included extra unexpected surprises such as delicious muffins and scones from a local bakery. Sitting and rocking on the front porch in the mornings was a delight. I will recommend this place to others.

Thank you, Karen. We love it when our guests have the experience we hope to provide. See you again. :-)
We loved this little house so much, everything you could possibly need was there! It is a short walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoy the front porch and all the beautiful flowers. We hope to be back soon!
This little house was just perfect! Clean, cute, filled with extras (the scone was delish) and just straight out of a Cottage Magazine. It's location in Smithville was a quick drive to our event in Bastrop. My one complaint is that our event kept us from being there to enjoy it more!
We stayed at this property for one night while attending a wedding nearby, and it was absolutely perfect! The location was so convenient, just a short drive from the venue, making it easy to get to and from the celebration. The property itself was spotless, with cozy, comfortable beds and plenty of space to get ready for the big event. The host was very responsive and made check-in/check-out a breeze.
The atmosphere was peaceful and charming, providing the ideal place to relax after a busy day. We only stayed for one night, but we felt right at home. I highly recommend this property for anyone attending a wedding or any special occasion – it was a great experience!

We are so glad our Cottage worked so well for you. Thanks for your appreciative review! And, come back when you can stay longer ... :-)
Great. Will for sure stay there again. Close to town. We walked to the Christmas parade. A bunch of extras (coffee, tea, sugar, mini sodas in the fridge among many other extras. Plenty of space. The host was awesome. Any questions we had were answered very timely. Can't wait to go back.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves, MaryAnn. That is what we like to hear!
This property is convenient to the area attractions, but the serenity of the massive back yard will draw you in to want to hang there and soak up the sun with your family and or friends. You have the option of catching the breeze in the lovely rockers on the deck of the “She Shed”, or you can have your young ones chase bubbles, hula hoop, or play croquet (bring your own) and have endless fun. Hosts are supremely pleasant and accommodating. The chef’s kiss happens to be the provision of some of the best sourdough brown butter treats ever! There’s an assortment of snacks and beverages, breakfast packs and egg bites, coffee, and tea, and I wanted for nothing while I was there. The bedding is quite comfortable, and the decor is chic and appealing. A definite must!

Oh Alicia — your description of our Cottage snd your stay make us very proud. Makes us feel successful at what we set out to accomplish. Thank you!
This was such a lovely place to spend some time. Beautifully appointed!! Big back yard and a grill to boot. The town is quaint and charming with interesting small businesses and a great place to take walks down to see the river or watch the trains. The beds were very comfortable, the appliances were all fairly new and worked great. so many little details. This is a house that has a lot of love present. Thank you!

So glad you enjoyed the Cottage and your stay! That’s what we want. :^)
This was hands down the best VRBO we have ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much thought and care had gone into making guests feel at home. They truly thought of every little extra you could possibly need, and the chocolate chip cookies from a local bakery waiting for us were such a sweet and thoughtful touch! The house was absolutely pristine, incredibly cozy, and felt so warm and homey. The beds were super comfortable, everything was spotless, and there wasn't a single thing we felt was missing during our stay.We loved everything about this place and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. If we're ever back in the Smithville area, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend!
