Family beach vacation! Perfect location FUN at beach, pool, waterpark, fishing

Let the fun begin! Our home is a stilt house in the very desired holiday inn section of Ocean Lakes Family Campground.The only problem will be deciding sand and surf, water park, fishing or relaxing on your deck and watching the ocean. You can do it all without ever having to get in your car! Located on Seaside Drive overlooking swash allows the kids to try fishing or crabbing while you relax and enjoy. Great location! Smart TVs and wireless internet.The lower back deck located on the swash allows for fun crabbing, fishing, and watching water fowl from the convenience of your deck. Just a few steps to the beautiful sandy beach with a great playground in front of the dunes. All you need to do is grab a towel and take a few steps to relax to the sounds of the ocean. Your feet are in the sand within 500 ft!
There are 2 entrances to house. One is covered in case of inclement weather and second entrance takes you to a large deck that wraps around 3 sides of house, giving you beautiful lake and ocean views. Both lower and upper deck comfortably set up with multiple tables, outdoor seating with gas and charcoal grill for your enjoyment. A very well equipped kitchen with eat in table and chairs plus open dining-living areas on the first floor. First floor also has a master bedroom (King) suite with private full bathroom. There is a half bath located on first floor off back hallway. Two very spacious bedroom suites on second floor, both with their own full baths attached. One bedroom has a queen size bed and third bedroom has 2 twin beds and a full bed. A beautiful sunny sitting nook in between bedrooms contains queen pull out sofa. Laundry room with sink across from sitting nook.
Because house is located on the swash it is more private with ease of access to 3 car parking under house. One of our favorite features is the huge deck that has either shade or sun which ever you are in need of.
The house is in Ocean Lakes Family Campground giving you free access to the beautiful water park, pool, arcades, lakes, and beach. The best of everything whether you want to sit back and relax or join in with all the amazing activities available in the park or in the Myrtle Beach area. A quick 15 minute car ride to the beautiful Murrells Inlet seafood capital of South Carolina. There are so many wonderful eateries you can eat out everyday and you still leave behind places to go to next trip. It's a shopping haven for those of us who love to shop right out of the Ocean Lakes gate. This is a private home owned by us within the Ocean Lakes Family Campground.

This was our second time staying at this house and it was great! We enjoy staying close to the beach, the house has a bunch of sand toys, beach chairs & umbrellas to borrow which is very convenient! Phyllis is very quick to respond and helpful. The internet kept going out during our stay and she replied back right away to fix it! It’s a perfect place to stay for the week with your family!

Great family vacation spot

We enjoyed our stay and found the property to be exactly what we wanted. The house was clean. Some of the dishes were not clean, but that's likely from recent renters versus the owner or cleaner. We would absolutely rent the property again. It's a great location within the campground and it had amenities for all ages.

Nice week long vacation. This house slept 7 comfortably. Location was great, just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Lots of good food choices close by. Owners was very accommodating. Would highly recommend a trip to Merrels Inlet for food and entertainment.

We’ve been coming to Ocean Lakes for 10 years now and this is one of our favorite houses we’ve stayed at! It’s very kid friendly, very clean, looks just like the pictures & has plenty of space & seating outside. It’s in a nice location, close to the beach & near the playgrounds & basketball court. Phyllis was very responsive when I messaged her with questions and was helpful. We would stay again!

I am absolutely in love with this house! The views from both the front and back decks are incredible, the decor all through the house sets the tone for a great beach vacation and the location is perfect! Its a quick walk to the beach and a quick walk to the pool. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need during your vacation. I will definitely be renting again when the need arises!

Couldn’t ask for a better equipped house and location in Ocean Lakes! Short walk to the beach! Full bath in every room! Tons of toys and beach chairs...and even two chairs and umbrella reserved on the beach! Double decks offer views of ocean and night time golf cart parades on both sides! Owner was super nice and responsive! Definitely will be back!

We brought six girls with us to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. Plenty of room upstairs for the girls, and a private (and quiet) bedroom and bathroom downstairs for us. The kitchen had everything we needed. My husband and I enjoyed the deck in the evenings. Very short and easy walk to the beach. Enough room for a full size truck, mid-size SUV, and a rented golf cart to park and still get in and out easily. The location was outside the busiest areas of the property, but still close enough to access them when you wanted to. The house was clean and comfortable and everything was like described, or better. We had a great week!

Ocean Lakes is the Bestest!

We have stayed in Ocean Lakes many times over the last 20 years. This was the first time renting a house though as we always camped or stayed in an RV. Phyllis made renting super easy! She was always fast to reply and super helpful with information. The house is exactly as described. We had (10) adults and all slept comfortably. Plenty of room to eat together, watch tv, or play games inside or outside. All seating was comfortable and appreciate the cushions on the deck. We were SO happy beach chairs and umbrellas were provided. All were in great shape and there are plenty to use. The location was fantastic as it was an easy walk to the beach and to the water park.I highly recommend staying here, both at the house and Ocean Lakes. Thanks Phyllis!!

The owners were extremely responsive and available at any time. They were very accommodating from start to finish. The house itself is exactly as described. The location is perfect. Only a two minute walk to the playground and beach and a quick golf cart ride to the pool. The house is just far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of summertime Ocean Lakes but just close enough to be a part of the action. The deck and balcony was the perfect place to sit in the evening shade and watch the carts drive by. There is plenty of space to spread out with a fully stocked kitchen including pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. We found the beds comfy and slept well all week. Our group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed eating all of our prepared meals at the huge dinner table and watching movies in the living area. Just outside the front door, the channel that the house sits on is very peaceful and we saw a flounder caught while making dinner on the provided grill. We would highly recommend this house to anyone, especially families. Ocean Lakes provides such a quality experience for families with its amenities, ambiance, nature center, and activities. We will look to book this house again soon.

As a retired RN and utility worker /fireman we live locally in Murrells Inlet. We fell in love with this area 30 years ago vacationing with family at OceanLakes. We purchased our slice of paradise in 2001. It is our family vacation home, which helps to encourage more visits from our children and grandchildren who still live in the North. We have made many wonderful family memories here and we are happy to be able to share our home with you. Having been renters ourselves for many years we understand and strive to give you an optimal experience.

Before and since moving to South Carolina our family has and continues to make many happy vacation memories in Ocean Lakes Family Campground. We bought this property to enjoy with our children and family. We are now blessed to be able to share with our growing family of 4 grandchildren.The location of this property on the swash is perfect!

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with our beach house because of its location and easy beach living for our family get togethers. So much to do for everyone. The amenities offered in Ocean Lakes Family Campground offers something for everyone from infant to 90! If you haven't experienced Ocean Lakes you are in for a real treat. Relax on one of the decks with a frosty drink, spend the day on the beautiful sandy beach, or hanging at the pool. Children and those young at heart will have a hard time deciding between the surf and sand or the water park! All easily accessed with a few steps without having to cross any busy roads. Safety and a truly relaxing vacation drew us to this home. Each bedroom has its own bathroom making for a comfortable stay for couples or large families. Besides the location, the two huge decks and spacious rooms make this house our happy place!
