Incredible property! Clean! Fit our family of 11 perfectly. Loved the pool which was a rare find! Close to town but super private. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
The house was fantastic. We were a big group, six adults and six kids, and we were all able to sleep comfortably and the house never felt too small. Having the pool was a game changer with kids especially during a very hot week in August. The host was very communicative and helpful. Really no complaints!
The Searsport rental with pool was a perfect match for our three families with kids plus one grandpa and one auntie. The bunkbed bedroom turned out to be a great Kids Only room that was still within oversight by the two adults' bedrooms on either side--a real plus for the cousins and the parents. The other surprise was the kitchen which, given our interest in cooking and baking, proved to be equal to everything we wanted to make. And that, in turn, made it a great gathering place for good food, yes, but also good conversation and laughter--a real hearth for what could have been a mere rental. Add to this all the games and toys on hand, both for rainy indoor activities and jump-in-the-pool fun, and honestly, the time flew by too fast. We're happy to recommend this rental for like-minded families.
The kids enjoyed the pool. The house and the setting in the woods were ideal for our family but Searsport needs some loving

Beautiful Home
My family (6 adults and 2 teens) spent four nights and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house is beautiful, the two separate studio apartments (one above the garage and the other on the ground floor) gave everyone space and the pool and kitchen areas were perfect for all of us to come together. Everything you need in a family vacation! We highly recommend.
The property was perfect for our large family! King beds and a bunk room for the kids. Deb was very accommodating. We traveled with 3 children under 2 she provided almost everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and the fire pit. The older kids loved exploring the woods. It’s a great spot for a family vacation!!
We had 6 High School Graduates on their Project Grad trip with chaperones. It was the perfect amount of space for everyone. The trip was short but the house was enjoyed asuch as possible. It was a quiet neighborhood. The pool area was a lot of fun. The kitchen was beautiful and very useful! Thank you so much!
All of my adult children and their spouses (7) and grandchildren (7) thoroughly enjoyed our time at this Searspoint property. The kitchen is excellently stocked with anything you might need for cooking, baking, storing, serving. The beds were comfy. The pool toys were appreciated. We sat out on the covered deck and enjoyed the summer storm. Plenty of room for everyone. It was great!
A spacious, beautiful home not far from Acadia/Bar Harbor
This home had everything we needed. The kitchen was REALLY well stocked with good quality cookware and dishes…even an InstantPot! The bedrooms were all lovely, including the basement suite which felt like a getaway for my husband and I. There is one first floor bedroom which was great for an elderly family member. The railing upstairs is a bit lower than typical, which was not a real safety concern for us but could be for some. We enjoyed the yard, firepit and pool. Fun local things not to miss — Fort Knox (kids will love exploring here!), the Observatory on the Penobscot Narrows Bridge (tallest bridge observatory in the world!!), and the Unique Rock Shop. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are just over an hour away - definitely worth a day trip or two!
The pool deck needs some repair and we were disappointed that the swing set pictured was too unstable to use. The house was clean and the kitchen was nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable.

House was perfect for our needs. We traveled from Pennsylvania for our son's wedding. The house was very clean and supplied with all of the household items that a home should have. Deb was very easy to work with and was quick to respond with any questions that we had. We would definitely consider this rental again when we visit Maine in the future.
