Unpleasant Stay
The location of the house is nice but there were definitely major issues we had to face from
Day 1.
- First off, the property was not thoroughly cleaned. We could see dust everywhere. The sheets and blankets had dust on them. Some of my family have asthma so they had trouble breathing.
- The hand soaps in all the bathrooms were not filled, they were all empty and had to refill them ourselves.
- The sink in the downstairs bathroom was not working and would not drain once used so there was water accumulated in the bowl our entire 5 day stay.
- The toilet in the upstairs bathroom was leaking the entire time. Because of which eventually the water leaked the room downstairs and made the ENTIRE CARPET and WALLS wet. There were water bubbles on the walls on multiple spots. Made it impossible for us to walk around. Eventually they shut off the toilet so we had only 2 fully functional bathrooms between 9 people.
- We had to deal with A LOT of hassle because we were unable to use the room & the additional bathroom downstairs, including the toilet upstairs because of the reasons stated above.
- They told us that someone would come fix these issues but nobody came until we were checking out.
- The guy who came in to check on the issues after we complained, walked inside the house without ringing any bell or alerting us in the morning while we were sleeping. Felt very unsafe.
Overall it was a hassle and ruined our family’s winter break experience.
