In the center of Megève, a quiet and very comfortable apartment

The Résidence du Warens was built in 1960, a time when you could not skimp on square meters. This popular residence is wonderfully located in Megève. Right in the city center and a stone's throw from the church square and the departure of the ski lifts which lead to the Rochebrune and Mont-d'Arbois mountains, it is however away from the bustle of the center because it is located at the end of the small Champlat dead end. In addition, it overlooks by its south and west side the Glapet stream and the small pedestrian path which goes to the Fermes de Marie;
The apartment benefits from this situation because it is located on the ground floor of the Residence above a mezzanine, facing south, southwest. The apartment is therefore not on one level and overlooks the garden. He is very calm.
The apartment has just been almost completely restored.
it now offers 3 bedrooms, one of which is organized as a small independent suite, with its dressing room and its bathroom with shower and sink.
The entrance has been enlarged and offers a closet with coat rack and storage for suitcases,
• the toilets are completely redone with hand washing and storage
• the bathroom offers a new cabinet with double sink and a heated towel rail. It includes a laundry area with washing machine and dryer.
• the fully equipped and brand new kitchen is now integrated into the living room, very practical and convivial.
• the heating system is completely revised with low temperature electric heating in the circulation and living room (thermostat for each space) under a warmer oak floor and convectors in the bedrooms.
• Complete interior insulation was carried out with a wood paneling of all the facade walls and false ceilings in the circulation and the kitchen, dining room
• woodwork ceilings with lighting integrated into the circulation. All this allowed us to improve the general lighting.
• a new pure wool carpet was installed in the 3 bedrooms.

The whole is both warmer and brighter, remaining in soft tones with particular attention to detail.

The apartment is therefore now composed of a corner living room incorporating the kitchen and the dining room table (7 people), three bedrooms, a bathroom with tub, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. it has 7 very comfortable beds (1 double bed of 160, 2 bunk beds of 90 and 1 pull-out bed, 2 single beds of 90). The beds are new and very comfortable.
Large bay windows light up the whole. In winter, the apartment is bathed in sunshine. There is no opposite, except the view towards the Aiguilles Croches and Rochebrune.

The apartment is ideal for a stay with family or friends to enjoy the many facets of Megève, in all seasons. You can "forget" your car in the parking lot of the Residence and do everything on foot. Access is easy; a pass is given on arrival to open the entry barrier.
The city center and all its shops are 2 'away, the start of the Chamois gondola which leads to Caboche (Mont d'Arbois Massif and Rochebrune Massif) is also 3' on foot. A very well-stocked Carrefour Montagne and a good butchery department is located opposite the entrance to the Champlat impasse. You will find everything you need for your fondues and raclettes.

For skiers a ski room is accessible in the basement with a locked cupboard to store skis and boots.

There is a place to park outside the Residence.

You have WiFi and a BlueTooth speaker. The cleaning and the linen (beds and bath) are included.
