Amazing Weekend Trip

Great stay. Beautiful place. Amazing hosts. If I was to give one piece of advice to future guests, it would be that the kitchen is super bare bones, so if you are planning on doing some cooking up there, you need to bring literally everything save for salt, pepper and a bit of cooking oil and balsamic. It would be nice to have some sugar and basic spices. JUST a constructive criticism. Just want to reiterate this a wonderful space with fantastic hosts.

Relaxing Retreat

This cottage was just beautiful. It's clean, modern and has everything we needed for a relaxing retreat away from the city. Thank you for hosting my brother’s 50th birthday. It was just what he wanted, a relaxing weekend. This A Frame is so lovely, inviting and well appointed. We had a great time chatting and catching up enjoying the kitchen island as the main hangout. The outdoor space is so peaceful and private. The sauna is a bonus and was so enjoyable watching the snow fall, while being toasty warm. The provided info for activities and near by shops was a great reference. Need to return in the summer, as this was a such as beautiful place and location.Thanks again!

The natural light is everything!

I really loved the huge a-frame window and the natural light it provided. The surrounding property of all the beautiful trees also gave a beautiful view!! Decor was really nice and it was such a clean aesthetic. LOTS of cooking utensils and things in the kitchen for you to cook with/eat out of, which was a nice bonus! I'd def stay here again!!

The A-Frame cottage was exactly as advertised. A beautifully decorated, quiet, and quaint property in close proximity to the boat ramp. However, be sure to book your boat rental in the spring if staying during the summer months because they rent out very fast. The kitchen had everything we needed for our 10-day vacation. The hosts were amazing from our first communication to the last. Always prompt, friendly, and helpful in regards to all of our needs. We highly recommend this property!!!
We even had a family of deer stop by!

Why they chose this property

The area is absolutely breathtaking with so much to do in the area, and Eagle Lake is a gem! Our favorite part? Although we may not be directly on the water we are just down the street from a small public beach, boat launch and dock! We get all the privilege's of being on the water but the acreage and privacy like we are back in the bush! The location is close enough to the main town that it isn't inconvenient, but far enough away to feel unplugged from it all!

What makes this property unique

Having the privacy of 6 acres and the aframe built far back from the roadway allows you to be surrounded by nature. The privacy is amazing especially having the close proximity to a beach, free boat launch, and dock is a amazing. But, the thing that stands out most is the beautiful aframe design with all of the new luxuries of today! We just finished building the aframe in August of 2023. We bought it has a pre-fabbed kit and it was shipped here from Estonia, so it has that true Scandinavian feel!
