Snowboarding Weekend

Checking in was easy and the house was clean and exceeded my expectations compared to what I saw on the booking. Very spacious and nice area. The price might be a little steep but I think it’s worth it. The slopes are only like 8-10 minutes away.

House and location are great, but maintenance and customer service is lacking

Let me start by saying that the house itself, the structure and bones of it are great! Lots of space for large groups and spacious bathrooms, however this rental property still needs a lot of work.Arrived on our first day to find a trash can full of trash that smelled horrible. Before even unpacking, one of the bathroom showers upstairs was clogged-even before anyone took a shower. We later found out that the house had another clogged bathroom a few weeks prior. Getting someone from the property to respond and get these issues fixed was challenging. The maintenance guy they sent couldn’t fix it. The host said they would send someone but no one should ever showed up to fix the shower our entire weekend. The supplies in the kitchen are minimal. We had to go out and buy extra supplies and improvise. Housekeeping was poorly done. The floors were dirty. Even with a beautiful barbecue grill, there is no outdoor seating on the deck, just two small patio chairs. There’s limited seating in the living room just two small couches. With groups of 16, this will not work. There’s no notebook with house rules, instructions or guidelines-which would’ve been helpful since no one responds to text messages. We just had to figure things out on our own. There were some switches that were labeled and others we just had no clue what they were for.Again, the house is great, but it seems like they’re new to this type of business. They need to up their gameto compete with other properties.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed and constructive review. I truly appreciate your honesty, and I’m very sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. While I’m glad to hear you found the home itself spacious and well-designed for large groups, it’s clear that the condition of the property and the service provided during your stay fell short in several areas. From the missed maintenance on the clogged shower and poor housekeeping to the lack of essential kitchen supplies and communication—these are all concerns we take very seriously. You’re absolutely right: when hosting large groups, things like ample seating, clear instructions, and responsive support aren’t optional—they’re essential. We’re actively reviewing and addressing each of the issues you mentioned, including adding more living room and outdoor seating, providing a detailed welcome guide, ensuring proper labeling of switches, and improving both cleanliness and responsiveness from our team. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’re using it to make immediate improvements. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced, and I hope we can earn the opportunity to provide you with a far better stay in the future.
