Summary: Our lovely 5 bedroom/3 bathroom midtown home sits in a cul-de-sac and accommodates up to 16 guests! The cozy living room, spacious bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, and large fenced yard provide the perfect Montgomery retreat. You will love this quiet stay, minutes from dining and shopping and 10 minutes from downtown. Great for large families and groups. Pets are welcome with a fee. The Space: Guests will enter the house through a digital keypad. Once you step inside, you will see a staircase on the right and a dining room on the left. Off the dining room, there is a door leading to the kitchen and laundry area. On the left of the dining room is a hallway leading to three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Walk straight from the main entrance to the living room with a decorative fireplace and sofa bed. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms and another bathroom. Outside, a charcoal grill, covered patio with outdoor furniture, and a large fenced backyard.
Guest Access: The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.
The Neighborhood: Our house is located in a quiet residential area with easy access to major highways and interstates. It is conveniently located in midtown, minutes away from shops, service centers, grocery stores, schools, and more! We are within walking distance to Vaughn Road Elementary School.
Getting Around: Uber, Lyft, and other Taxi available, but driving is encouraged!
Other Things to Note: We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests: We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free check in via a digital door code. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!

Beds were comfortable and easy location. Nice big dining table and living room was comfortable, but a little dark with only lamps for lights. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed, although the cabinets were very outdated and didn’t open and close properly. Overall, it was nice.

The space was perfect for our group of 10. Beds and bathrooms were spacious and adequate for our needs. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked as well. We found some unwanted critters in the kitchen which dimmed our stay. The property needs work, especially in upstairs hallway bathroom. Paint peeling due to shower spray. Clawfoot tub turned into shower is very slippery to stand in and get in and out of. And there were no hand towels anywhere.

Overall the house is just like the photos and description. Centrally located and very clean. Our only issue was there is no shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom which makes the shower useless. The kitchen was well stocked.

Upon entering the rental, we noticed issues with lighting not working, broken toilet seats, and missing shower curtain upstairs. (This was noted in another review) I immediately messaged the host, but we were there a week and they resolved nothing. We went out and purchased our own shower curtain in which we had to make shift it to work out. When messaging issues, they just respond by saying they will inform their local team…whatever that means. Would not recommend staying here.

Disappointed
First, let me say, the property shows as represented in the photos and the space was suitable for our size family. Was in town for a family reunion and the property was in close proximity to events associated with our family reunion.
Feedback:
When entering the foyer, the floors appeared as though they had not been mopped, and there were dead bugs and debris. I did not take photos. There is a smell in the home - likely related to the leaky toilet. Notified property manager - issue was not resolved, plumber did not show as promised in text communication with property manager.
Kitchen - coffee pot filled with moldy coffee. The floors did not appear swept. I purchased a mop as the mop provided was dirty.
Master bedroom - bed was nicely made with towels available. The bathroom floors had not been swept - dead bugs and debris. Tub was not clean - dirty towel on tub, hanging blue body scrubber. Open bottles of soap (I was not sure if this was complimentary or left by a previous guest because of the dirty towel and scrubber. Used ball of Tissue on top of toilet tank.
Hall bath - was not swept. Wasn’t sure if the bath had been cleaned based on the state of the master bath.
Upstairs beds were nicely made with towels nicely folded and available. Towels were dingy and should be bleached. Same with bed linens.
I purchased cleaning supplies and spent more time cleaning than enjoying the property. Lengthy email sent to PM with photos. No response.
