INDOOR GATHERING SPACE Enter through the ground level where you are immediately greeted by a spacious living and dining area. Your family will love the open layout with lot of places to gather. Watch a movie on the couch or enjoy breakfast at the dining table. The second level provides several sleeping options and plenty of bathrooms for everyone in your group as well as a changing table for our smallest guests.

OUTDOOR GATHERING SPACE Sit out on the second level balcony and enjoy the sounds of the lake as the waves meet the shore, the kids at play and the boats as they cruise the coast. Pull up a chair and enjoy a front row seat to the beautiful sun sets that sink just past the Chicago Skyline or watch the kids play in the sandbox. As a bonus the home includes an outdoor shower so that you don’t have to drag all the sand inside. Savor the moment, slow down and share stories while gathered on the ground level patio.

Parking for 1 car in front of the property, 4 cars can park behind house. Overflow parking nearby for all additional cars.

PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED
Professionally managed means peace of mind during your stay. Front desk associates, housekeeping and maintenance staff are nearby should you need anything during your vacation. It’s your vacation, we are here to ensure you enjoy it. This home rents Wednesday to Saturday or Saturday to Wednesday in prime season.

RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity 4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

Dunelow rents with a 7-night minimum with check-in and check-out on Friday during peak season (mid-June to mid-August).

Enjoyable stay

The property was well stocked (except for a firepit and a golf cart). We liked the location which was close to the headquarters, pool, lake, and other external amenities.

The house was spacious enough for our family and close to all the amenities The Beachwalk has to offer! The staff at The Beachwalk was extremely courteous and professional with us since we contacted them a couple different times during the rental process - they never seemed bothered by all our questions!!!

I know the turn over week to week is some what difficult for a deep clean, but the rugs & floors do need it. Maybe during the off-season. Glad to see the vegetation on the property grounds getting well needed maintenance. Overall another great stay at Dunelow.

The house is functional and accommodations were great for our two families. The only drawback was no fire pit for nighttime s’mores. The location was close to beach and pool and the screened in upper and lower porches were a big hit! Would definitely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely place for a family reunion but there is no concierge like service described on their site-"Extra towels or a fresh propane tank? We can get it to you." Our house sleeps around 15 but only had 2 beach towels. When I asked the office about getting more towels I was told "You should have brought your own beach towels." Fair enough but they are marketing BVR Exclusive Concierge Services on their site.Overall we enjoyed this resort and would recommend it. Just be prepared to get most things you need if you aren't a regular guest. Cheers

Family Weekend

The house was a perfect size for our family. We've been coming to Michigan City for a long weekend since our boys were little - now they bring their partners and my grandson. :) It is a great location - .16 miles to the beach and the community pool and cafe is across the street. The only thing I would add is a reading lamp next to the bed/futon in the downstairs bedroom/office.

Outside landscaping is in need of maintenance.Front yard gate was broke in half.First floor hardwood floors need a good cleaning.It was nice to have wagons, beachchairs & floats.Screened in porches both 1st & 2nd floors were nice to have.Adequate living room & kitchen space.Bedrooms & bathrooms were also adequate.

The night before the covid wedding there was a huge storm and ever single light was out in every house in Beachwalk but ours because our house had a generator. Thank you, thank you for that.

Beds were comfortable and we had a great week! Perfect location - we could have done without the golf cart. Couple issues: There were two broken chairs that I reported but they were never repaired - we had to use one of them and just kept hoping it wouldn't collapse! Bathrooms were clean but the floors in the main living space had not been cleaned. I had to clean them when we arrived - I expected more due to the cleaning fee charged.

Reviewer Comments: The place was clean but furniture and decorations were very dated. Slip covers on furniture? Plastice table cloth on dining table? Kitchen had lots of supplies, but very disorganized and some of the the things need to be thrown away. Liked the screen in porch, but plastic furniture was stained and old and sandbox toys were good but some were broken A little bit of landscaping would help the place tremendously. Weeds need to be pulled, and porches need to be painted. Just the whole outside needs to be spruced up. Sandbox needs to be cleaned out. Wicker furniture in the upstairs porch was old. Pool area was nice. And the Beachwalk's playground area definately need some attention--old but kids still had fun on it.
