The cabin was a great size and the location was perfect. There was a star gazing done that was recently put in that was really nice. It rained every day so it was nice to be able to sit out in the dome and on the porch.
The hot tub was great! The house was clean and property was beautiful! The driveway was very steep and scary. That info would have been helpful before we booked. We do not own a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
Great cabin. Clean and neat. The driveway is fun, listen to the comments. Would be a struggle for a small car. Comfortable beds and the hot tub was great. Bring your own cleaning supplies, and dish soap, none are provided. Overall an amazing place with a fantastic front porch. And whats up with the tiger king "picture" hilarious!
We had a very enjoyable stay, home was perfect size and very comfortable. Home offered fresh towels, kitchen accessories, coffee bar, hot tub was great, fire pit area was nice but the grass was overgrown, plenty of garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels well stocked. Overall very nice and would stay again. Downside was driveway was very steep, definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up driveway, slight septic odor outdoors.

Comfortable
The house and property are very nice. The beds are very comfortable. The only downside was the wood deck is a rough in places. Definitely could use a good sanding. Overall I was pleased.

Hi Sarah, we shared your review with the homeowner, who provided the following response: We recently stained the patio as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the guest experience. This improvement was made to ensure that the outdoor space is more aesthetically pleasing and comfortable for our guests to enjoy. Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We look forward to the opportunity to host you again in the future.
Nice floor plan and seating. Liked all the outdoor activites. Master carpet needed spot cleaning. There was not enough silverware and the largest frying needs to be replaced due to extreme wear. Also the grills were in poor shape. The septic had a strong odor at times. Liked the hot tub with the hanging lights.
Appears we were perhaps the first or second group to stay at this brand new property. Very clean and with the exception of lacking a few small kitchen items, well stocked for guests. We chose this property to continue winter holiday celebrations with extended family. Enjoyed the solitude. All Hocking Hills area parks and activities are a 15-20 minute drive from the property.

Beautiful Cabin
The home was clean and beautiful, definitely gives that wood cabin feel with the added bonus of modern ammenities. AWD is necessary for the driveway, do NOT book this cabin if you don't have a car with AWD. However, the steep hill the property is located on provided a lot of privacy from the road. I really enjoyed how secluded the cabin felt, every window you looked out had lush green, just beautiful!

Great Stay and pet friendly!
We loved it here! Good location, less than 20 minutes to Hocking Hills. Nearby gas station, Dollar General, and Savealot. We do wish that a vacuum cleaner or even a broom and dust pan was provided, being a pet friendly cabin. Our pups brought in the outside with them and it was annoying not having something to clean up the sand and dirt they tracked in. The driveway is very steep and fwd is highly recommended! Overall good stay.
Nice Place. There was both a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee type coffee brewer.
It was just my wife, me and our dog (a collie).
We could smell some septic smell outside like a previous reviewer mentioned. Hopefully this gets taken care of soon.

Not quite as expected
Cute cabin, comfortable, good beds. The driveway is indeed steep but it makes it appear that the house is on a hill. Rather, it is below a hill, so that your view is into the side of the hill. It was obvious that the cleaning crew was not as diligent as they should have been. There was a lot of accumulated dust under the bed, baseboards and window sills were dusty, and the bathtub had a discernable ring. Bigger issue was the outdoor odor, coming from both the deck (mystery), and from the septic tank (not a mystery).

"We always want our guests to feel comfortable and well taken care of. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- The steep driveway is noted in the listing, and guests are advised to bring a 4x4 vehicle for easier access.- The cleaning team has been reminded to pay closer attention to areas like baseboards, tubs, and under beds to ensure a thorough job.- The outdoor odor concern has been addressed with a review of the septic system and steps taken to minimize any future issues. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve the guest experience."

Very cute!
We had a wonderful stay. This cabin is very nicely done, cozy, and a newer build! The string lights outside, the firepit, and the hot tub are nice touches that we enjoyed. The cabin has the essentials you will need in the bathrooms and the kitchen. It's a little ways away from the trails but very doable. The driveway was rough getting in and out. It could probably be regraded. Our minivan had trouble going up the driveway to get out. We could not get out going forwards, but putting it in reverse and going up backwards worked. Lol! Overall we loved our stay and would stay here again.

Great place, driveway needs pictured
Our stay was fantastic! This place is cute and roomy. It was just my girlfriend and myself here so we really had room to spare. The hot tub is fantastic and was VERY clean. Some places would benefit from a better dusting and the lawn could've used a mow. The driveway was VERY daunting for my car, I brought it because the listing said "this property has a steep driveway. Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive may be necessary in some weather conditions to access the property" I guess they didn't expect a car 3 inches from the ground to have AWD haha! My car ended up handling the driveway fine, however I'd recommend an SUV. I'd strongly recommend they add pictures of the driveway and fix the large pitting that rain run-off has caused because those spots could easily swallow up a wheel. Overall the place was great and I would certainly stay here again!
It was the perfect space for two couples getting a much needed respite from the kids. We spent most of our days hiking in the area, but when we got back to the house it was a great space to cook, and relax. The hot tub was extremely clean and all of the jets were a great ending to full days of hiking. The cleanliness of the property was ok. There was a lot of hair in the bathroom shower, there was no dish detergent for the dish washer. The pans were a bit old and other utensils were a bit sparse. Also did not appreciate the surveillance cameras that we were instructed to not turn off. Not a big fan of not being told about them before booking this location. If I would have known about the cameras I probably would have booked a different location. Over all, this location was good.
