Absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, yet close to local spots. The host was wonderful and made everything so easy. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay at this lovely historic cottage very conveniently located near just about anything you could want - shopping, all kinds of food, salons, gyms, banks, and parks, Our hosts were very responsive to any minor issues, and the kitchen had all types of appliances, including a Keurig machine and microwave. It is se back from the road and very private, We were travelling with our dog and there was a great park just across the street. You can walk to get your morning coffee and bagel.

This property is exceptional and really special! I didn’t want to leave and wished I had booked it longer. The owners are just as special as the space they’ve created! It’s cozy, warm, historic, interesting, creative and convenient. I enjoyed the hiking trails nearby, the restaurants and easy access to see friends and family!

By far my all time favorite VRBO. If I could buy this studio and move in, I would! Perfect place for solo or couple. Everything is within walking distance and Hilltop Reservation walking trails are a short drive. Excellent food options, close to shopping, and owners are the best hosts! This is my second stay and I will return again! Hosts thought of everything so you will have everything you need! Very comfortable!

We loved the Crane's Cottage. The atmosphere is lovely, bed comfy, and it feels like a warm nook to relax in. Hosts were responsive and helpful. We were there in November so we weren't able to partake of the environs. It sits next to a number of municipal buildings but it is shielded by trees and a fence and we never heard a thing! Walking distance to a very good little Italian restaurant that we enjoyed twice!

Convenient and unique

The cottage is situated on beautiful grounds and it was a great location for visiting family. The cottage itself was musty, which can cause breathing issues. The bed on the platform was a little difficult to maneuver, especially at night. There’s a nice deck off of the living room that we enjoyed at breakfast.

Thank you for the review. Sorry about musty smell we used a UV light to sanitize and the scent tends to linger. (If we knew it was an issue we would of definitely dropped a fan or dehumidifier) We also had exterior painting done and that also could of affected the interior. The platform bed is part of the design we will definitely consider your comments. Thank you again for visiting.
