Only minutes from Newport and the stunning Rhode Island south coast beaches, this home will provide you with the perfect location to explore or just chill on the deck overlooking Narraganset Bay, the Plum Beach lighthouse, and Jamestown bridge. Jamestown offers a quiet rural atmosphere with an abundance of open spaces and lovely views providing an excellent location for walking or riding bicycles. The small village center offers many restaurants with al fresco dining, shopping, and water taxi to historic Newport.

This professionally landscaped home features open concept living with an updated fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, washer/dryer, large deck with retractable awning for eating or sunning, and parking for 2 vehicles. Linens and bedding are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Air conditioning.

The place was lovely and we could see the water from the deck. The living space was comfortable and the largest bedroom was very spacious. The house was nicely decorated and we enjoyed our stay. Our host was a good communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

Very clean house with everything a person could need. We stayed during extreme heat conditions and the whole house was very comfortable with zone controlled AC.Sunsets from the deck were awesome in this quiet neighborhood. We would return again.

We opportunistically booked three available nights just the week before. We’ve been to this house many times because it has a great location, it’s convenient to of course Jamestown, but also Newport and Narragansett. The house is well equipped, and well maintained and right outside. their are lovely walks and a wonderful neighborhood right by the bay.

My husband, Casey, and I purchased this home in 2016. Casey grew up by the water in nearby North Kingstown, RI. He is an avid sailor and loves to spend his days on the water. Casey is a school teacher and an executive director of a sailing club in MA. I work in Human Resources and love to travel.

We are new to renting our summer home, but can not wait for you to experience all that our home and Jamestown has to offer!

Why they chose this property

We decided to purchase in Jamestown, RI due to the proximity to the ocean, it is close to where our sailboat is located, as well as to beautiful beaches throughout Rhode Island. We love to go to Newport for the day or down to Narragansett. The property is central to everything that we could possibly need, yet in a quiet neighborhood.
