Enjoy some quiet time in this home located on the north end of Jamestown. Only 5 minutes’ walk will bring you to a beautiful local beach. Enjoy a quiet and peaceful stroll in the morning to catch the sunrise and in the evening for some beautiful sunset. The house consists of 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 full, 2 twins, and 1 bonus twin bed), 2 baths, and well stocked kitchen. With a spacious deck in the back, enjoy some meals outdoor, sit and relax in the backyard to read a book, listen to the birds chirping, or feel the breeze. This home boasts nature at its best! While it is tucked in a quiet street, it is only a 10 minutes’ drive from Newport and a 15-20 minutes’ drive from Narragansett.

Seven nights minimum rental starting Mid-May to Mid-September.

Note: Our house is categorized as Contemporary with the kitchen, dining area, bathroom and 2 smaller bedrooms on the first floor. The spiral staircase leads to the living room/family room and master bedroom and master bath on the second floor.

Wonderful stay. Short and sweet but it’s the perfect set up for 2 people. Grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here with a house that had plenty of amenities to offer, a beautiful back yard and fire place, and comfortable, clean, air conditioned house and bed.

This property is fabulous! The cottage is quaint and had everything we needed! The walk to the beach was short and scenic---only about 5 minutes away. Great cottage I would recommend for anyone!

Wonderful, clean property, at the end of a quiet road

My stay was amazing. I was happy to be away from the hustle and bustle and still within 15-30 min of so many gems in the area. I'd highly recommend this property to my family and friends. The house is clean, well maintained, stocked well, and communication with property owner is great.

Quiet Beauty

Near to Newport and Jamestown destinations, but quiet, spacious and comfortable. Easy short walk to the beach. Perfect for bike-riding. Cozy, comfortable well-appointed home with a huge deck. Especially loved sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Hope to visit again!

Graduation stay

Home was nice and clean, many essentials you may have forgotten are there. Quiet neighborhood, just sitting in the backyard is very peaceful and calming. Owner was available for any problems or concerns. We visited the small beach enjoyed it, nice and quiet. I would recommend and would stay again.

Peace and Relaxation Achieved

My family lives in Baltimore City which is always very hectic and can be noisy. Our stay in Jamestown was off the beaten path and just what we needed to recharge. The place itself is lovely, very clean, stocked with everything you need, comfy beds and other nice touches, like kcups for the Keurig and some other food. It’s also very close to other towns in Rhode Island that are fun to visit. The host outlines tons of information for your stay and is always quick to respond! I would definitely come here again in a heartbeat.

Great & awesome weekend stay

Overall it is decent house w/ great outdoor deck. outdoor view is very relaxing. Excellent communication w/ owner, and very accommodating. House needs major updates/remodeling.. Spiral stairs was shaky. It is has everything we need with exception of paper tower rolls or napkins.

Awesome back yard

We were there for my son’s marine training school graduation. It rained the entire time but we did use the fire pit once. There is a deer in the back yard that hangs around and watches you. The upstairs loft was a perfect place for a few displaced Marines to wait for a few hours not at the airport for their flights out. Very cozy place.

Peaceful - Relaxing - Cozy

Thank you so much Huyen for allowing us to stay at your home while vacationing in Rhode Island! The home had everything we needed for our stay and so close to all the various activities within the community and surrounding states (we traveled to Mass and Conn too!). And the beds (memory foam) we just what we needed at night for a wonderful restful sleep. We spent most of the day traveling and it was so nice to come home to a place that was relaxing, clean, had all the amenities we needed and quite/peaceful outdoors. Anytime we had a question you replied with an answer immediately...we were so grateful. It was simply a beautiful experience and I highly recommend this rental for anyone considering a vacation in the Rhode Island area. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again!!! Had a wonderful stay. Home was clean, spacious and well stocked with everything we needed including linens, toiletries and snacks, water, spices and condiments. Beds were comfortable and master bedroom and bath were excellent. Lovely living room as well. Neighborhood was quiet with deer, rabbits, and other wildlife in the yard. Neighbor was very helpful with vacation tips and lent us a kayak! Large deck, fire pit, beach chairs were provided as well. Huyen answered texts immediately and helped make our experience very enjoyable. Plan to stay again next year.

Comfortable haven for nature lovers

Our family of 4 needed a place to stay for 2 months after our house was damaged by a water leak. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. From day one and until the end of our stay the owners were attentive to our every needs and extremely responsive. The daily drive to Jamestown over the water was simply magical and the 8 min drive all the way to the northern end of the Island, surrounded by deers and other cute wildlife was very relaxing. Then, there's the neighborhood. Everything about it was comfortable, peaceful, convenient and enjoyable: a dead-end with no traffic (didn't hear a single car for 2 months...), the quick walk to the beach, the birds singing, the wonderful neighbors (Diane, Cherry, Alex... we'll miss you guys. Thanks so much for being so welcoming and friendly), the large backyard, the huge fireplace with plenty of wood, the 2-person hammock attached to 2 massive and beautiful trees, the brand new shed (I put my motorcycle in there and could easily put 3) with brand new complimentary beach chairs, the high end Weber gas grill, the very large deck with super comfortable furnitures and 10ft umbrella to protect from the sun, the large brand new driveway that can easily park 5 cars, the many hikes with stunning views and hidden beaches, the large TV with comfortable leather seats, Ah, and by the way, there's no mosquitos in Jamestown. I don't know why, but for the first time in my life I was able to enjoy a fire at night and in the middle of nature without being bitten or even having to put any bug spray on me. This made the whole experience even more enjoyable. There are quite a bit of ticks though (because of the deers), but the entire property is treated against ticks so they stayed pretty far away from us (just be careful and protect yourself when you go on a hike). I could continue to write more about our stay and it would all be positive. I would give 6 stars if that was an option. Thanks Huyen. Our family was lucky to find you and your wonderful house!

Loved this little house! Plenty of room for four girlfriends to hang out and be together or find cozy nooks to get some quiet time. Located at the end of the drive was a perfect setting only five minutes walking distance to the water. Beautiful sunrises!!! Jamestown itself was a sweet little town with some must sees. Driving time to Newport was under 30 minutes with so much to see and do. The house was well stocked and very comfortable beds. Great place to stay when you visit the area.

This home was in a perfect location for us as it was really close to family we were visiting. It was surrounded by trees and felt very peaceful. The communication with the owner was fantastic and I really appreciated their availability. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The one note I have is that the bedroom upstairs is technically open to below, so there can be a bit of noise in that room, not a big deal for us, but not something I had not expected.

The house had a deck with the woods behind. Deer came out in the morning. Great fire pit and hammock in the back also. Pictures are accurate. Great proximity to Newport. Nice quiet spot for a relaxing evening after going to Newport. Jamestown has great restaurants and is a very nice old town. I would say be aware that there is a spiral staircase that some people might have a problem navigating. We did not. Property owner was very responsive and nice. We would come back.

Loved the pit fire!

We had a nice time here! Had a pit fire every night! It was nice and quiet and easy to get to Newport. The layout of the house was different as the living room was upstairs. Beds were comfortable. Huyen was excellent at communicating.

Awesome outdoor space

Great stay! Super quiet neighborhood. Large enough for the 5 of us and we spent most of the week on the deck and around the fire pit. Coffee every morning on the deck with a family of deer. Reminded us of home. Close to our Marine and restaurants/ stores. Definitely would stay here again.

Peace and Quiet

Nice house tucked away in quiet neighborhood with next to no man made sounds. Close enough to cities without having to drive forever to get there. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to stay not in a city. The only negative "we"(pronounced my wife) had were the pillows. I thought they were comfortable, she didn't. Everyone has different preferences, can't make everyone happy. Definitely use their directions provided and not Google maps. It's not a big deal but Google doea take you to a neighbors house. I don't know when I'll be in Rhode Island again but I'd definitely stay again. Thank you for having us!

Great location, great property!

Check in was great and the host was responsive and timely in doing so when needed. The home is very nice, great lay out, comfortable and clean. The outdoor deck was wonderful and the fire pit was well stocked with wood and in a beautiful setting. We supplemented with additional wood from the Cumberland Farms store. The location was awesome with an easy walk to the ocean and short drive to NewPort. The town of Jamestown is very cute and there was a nice selection of restaurants close to the home. The spiral staircase is a bit of a challenge but the description and pictures make it clear that it exists. Watch your head when walking on the first floor when walking past the spiral staircase. The upstairs is a lovely spot to hand out. The only thing I would say that I would change is the cupboards are filled with a variety of products that I believe previous guests have left so I would clear some of that stuff out of the cupboards. Thanks for a great time.
