Family friendly beach house in awesome location, right next to Brighton park reserve with children's playground as well as the beach just 130 metres away.
Fabulous sea views from the kitchen and living room. Walking distance to cafes.
This is a traditional beach house with a comfortable modern feel, set up with relaxing holidays in mind. Open plan dining, kitchen and living leads to deck areas with outdoor dining both front and back of the house. Comfortable lounge and new kitchen that's fully equipped.
Please be aware, particularly if you have children or dogs, that the property is not fenced.

Amazing Xmas break!

Great location, short walk to the beach and only a short walk from there to the surf club if needing to swim between the flags. Great views from both decks and inside, modern living and kitchen area and nice separate room for kids to use extra TV. Perfect spot and good value vs most other options at Waihi Beach.

It's just a short walk down the road to the white sands and sparkly blue waters of Waihi Beach, voted by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 beaches in New Zealand.

Beach front cafe, the Flat White, is only a short walk away as is the local petrol station perfect for last min ice for cocktails, lollies or ice creams on hot days!

Nearby Waihi Beach village (2 min drive or 10 min walk) is full of boutique shops, fantastic restaurants and cafes, a small supermarket and award-winning butcher making this area full of everything you need for that perfect getaway!

The beaches nearby are wonderful for walking, shell collecting, swimming, surfing or playing in the sand. There are many well equipped children’s playgrounds in the area as well as great walking and biking tracks including the famous Mountain Bike trail through the Karangahake Gorge. This trail is great for kids (or any age) you pass over bridges, through tunnels and explore the old gold mine and water fall. Bike hire is possible in Waihi town or the Waihi Beach village.

This beach house is in an ideal location to explore the Bay of Plenty. Tauranga is a 1-hour drive, and Coromandel is 1.5 hours. The Karangahake Gorge is 20 minutes away for wonderful walking and exploring as well as a winery, restaurant and café, a waterfall and bike trails. Hobbiton is only an hours drive away and the famous Waitomo Caves or Rotorua both 1.5-2 hours away by car. Auckland International airport is also only 2 hours drive.

What makes this property unique

Enter the house via steps up to a sunny back deck facing the beautiful Kaimai Hills, here you will find an outdoor dining area and BBQ on a private deck surrounded by grapevines. Walking into the home via a large hallway area that has two single beds, a games cupboard and extra TV for the kids (only plays DVDs that we have a number to choose from). Branching off this area is the separate toilet and large bathroom with second toilet, basin, bath, shower and washing machine. Also flowing off this area is one of the bedrooms with a queen size bed and bunk set for the kids. We have a number of cute toys and dollhouse in this room to keep the kids entertained for hours. Walking on through this living area you enter the kitchen, the kitchen is newly renovated and has a large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, coffee machine and dishwasher not to mention the awesome sea views from the kitchen sink! The kitchen is open plan with the dining room and main living area. The main living area has large comfortable couches and a Smart TV set up with Netflix, perfect for family movies nights! The main living area also has a sunny front deck with outdoor dining and sun-loungers, it has sea and hill views and is great for soaking up rays and relaxing. Just across the road is the large Brighton reserve with one of the best kids playgrounds in the area and the sparkling seas and white sands of Waihi Beach - voted one of the tope ten beaches in the world by Lonely Planet.
