Thank you for providing such a great home for myself and my family to enjoy our summer vacation. We really appreciated all of the pet friendly items in the home, as well. The only issue we had was parking. Although the photo shows a backyard parking space, it is impossible to navigate as there are always cars parked on the alley/road there. We parked in the street in the front of the house, but that was questionable as the old roads are narrow and new vehicles are large. We were worried our car would get side swiped and that put a damper on things a bit.
Quiet spot! Great parking as we were traveling with an open truck bed of suitcases. Great add for our dog, he loved the back deck. Coffee shop next door was even better!

The A.C. did not work at all. The lady who was in charge did not care nor call me to find out. So, we were without A.C. for the two night we were there which was very hot. Glass was missing out of the door so what little air was going out the door and it was very hot in there. The kitchen window did not have a curtain or anything up so the sun really shines in and made it even hotter in there plus the people can see in the house. There outlet was expose the electric was hanging out and some of their plug did not work. The curtain they had on the front window didn't fit and people could see in. The blind they had on the one bedroom you can see in at night. The front door when you walk up to the property at night was dark had no porch light or any light of any kind which was very dark to see to unlock the door and could be very dangerous. The back yard was not pick up from garage on the ground. The only had 1 roll of toilet paper for 5 people. We had to bring our own.The parking is horrible.
The house is very cute, but a little "rough around the edges". It is an older home, so there are signs of wear. It is pet friendly, and we noticed a smell upon entry - but a can of Febreze took care of it, for the most part. I did notify the property manager so they could have the cleaning crew address it when we checked out. The tub in the bathroom has rust stains, but not unusual considering the age of the house. Location is great and is in a safe neighborhood, and a decent cafe right next door. Plenty of room for us 3 ladies to have our own bedroom. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in St Augustine.
We were able to walk to the historic downtown. Many other properties were much more expensive. Bedrooms could use some blackout curtains or shade for sleeping in a little. Definitely take the trolley tour to learn about the area!
The stay went well overall. We didn't spend much time in the house but we were there every night. The big issue was that the thermostat seemed to do nothing. I was able to turn the fan on or on auto but there was no heat at all. I got up on Monday morning and it was 59* in the house. That needs to be fixed right away. Also the house is in bad need of a remodel and clean up. Thee one bathroom is in rough shape..
