NIGHTMARE BREAK DUE TO THE WORST POSSIBLE HOST RESPONSE AND ACTIONS. NEVER RECCOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.
Arrived, large mechanical noise from above bedroom and bathroom. Contacted host initally by email (failed to respond) and by a number of phone calls (internet so bad could not stay connected) we were told not his responsibility. Noise so bad my wife moved to hotel first night as I have had back operation and must sleep alone.
Remaining nights had to take a chance of sleeping together.
NOISE CONTINUED 24 HOURS A DAY FOR THE 3 NIGHTS WE STAYED, AND STILL THERE WHEN WE LEFT THE PROPERTY.
Internet useless, router is in the bedroom wardrobe.
Window closing levers broken, so excessive noise day and night. Told this was a minor issue.
Host is the worst type possible, sends such smooth automated messages, but does nothing to make any attempt to resolve problems, and then blames occupants for not continually chasing him, despite refusing to sort the problems himself, and then telling me I have broken property rules for trying to resolve the problem. If the property rules are so important, provide then for compliance.(I went up to the next level to see where the noise was coming from, (MAJOR NON COMPLIANCE TO THE RULES)
Apartment is good, ideal location, good contents.
Host needs to drastically change his entire concept of what is important to his customer for positive reviews, NOT what he considers as an acceptable response to customer issues, accept responsibility for the problems that are brought to his attention and NOT JUST FAIL TO RESPOND.
