Our beautiful one-acre lush tropical paradise is located south of Hilo and near Kea'au and Pahoa Villages in the rainforest..
The studio apt. is upstairs has a great deck to view garden. Follow sidewalks to Tropical gardens at back of house,coconut palms, orchids , anthuriums and lush tropical plants.
A piece of paradise to call home while you are on the Big Island. Go to sleep with frogs chirping and stars so bright you could almost touch them. Wake up to birds singing and complimentary Hawaiian coffee . Pamper yourself, shower in our collected rainwater.
Automatic quotes for 1 bedroom are for 1-2 guest.
We live on property behind the rental.
Please read house rules in apt. It is customary to remove shoes upon entering the apt.

Private and Cozy

Beautiful private spot. Easy to get to, but away from most traffic. It is apparent the hosts enjoy people and making them comfortable. Lovely paintings done by the hostess. Most of the grounds are gorgeous gardens with beautiful evening lights. This is the cleanest place we stayed on the entire island. Pride is taken in every way. Highly recommend

Loved Kepi’s place!

Easy check in, warm welcome and beautiful garden/jungle view from our upstairs studio room. Kepi and Jim are sweet, loving people and very accommodating! We wished we could have stayed here for our entire time on the big island! They have 4 rental units, so I encourage you to reach out to them for other options if the unit you are considering is not available for your entire stay…..we wish we had! Kepi and Jim provided great recommendations on spots to see (and were able to re-direct us from an outdated guide book……several places we planned on exporting were closed due to lava flows) great restaurants and helped us plan our trip to achieve the wishes of our vacation. We hope to return to this beautiful accommodation someday in the near future!

Peaceful and serene

Location is perfect for those who want to be outside of the city and still easily access attractions/cultural landmarks. Breakfast on the patio was a treat. The garden was fun to explore. Definitely a place to consider when visiting Hilo.

Beautiful staycation in the rain forest

My husband and I went to Hilo for my birthday celebration and we enjoyed our stay. The room had everything we needed and accommodations were very comfortable. We met Kepi and had a lovely chat with her.
