Very nice location, and nice property! Was a very convenient spot to everything we wanted to do, yet in a private and secluded location. Host was great at communication.
This property was great for our family of 11 with varying ages. The kitchen is very large and well equipped. The best thing was having a table large enough to comfortable seat us for family meals. The sleeping accommodations are great with nice bathrooms. The host is quite accommodating and communicates well We would definitely consider coming again.
Place was as expected, an old log cabin lodge in a great location. It was very spacious with plenty of kitchen utensils, nice dock with lift, beds were fine, two refrigerators, canoe, rowboats, lots of lawn furniture . Lake bottom off dock all rocks but smooth, great water for swimming but you need to bring your own beach towels. Interior needs an upgrade Window screens were dirty, mold in the dishwasher and mouse droppings in a couple kitchen drawers. Distinct musty smell upon arrival before windows were open Very dark inside most of the day. Shower in master bath a trickle, others fine. All in all a fun place if you don’t need 4 star accommodations.
We just returned from a week long stay at Rodger’s amazing cabins, we rented both the large lodge and the small cabin next door. We had a total of 20 people and we all fit very nicely in both cabins. Really great beach that the kids all loved, we hope to come back as our family all really enjoyed our stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Westhaven Lodge! The lake and home were beautiful and worked well for our group of 11. The home was clean, and the caretakers were very kind. Bonnie stopped over with fresh vegetables from her garden during our stay. We would definitely love to stay again some day!
a beautiful property and lodge. Only thing missing was a sandy lake bottom, so be sure to bring water shoes so you can go into the lake - lots of rocks.
We enjoyed our stay and the ample cabin rooms/beds were great. We had a lot of fun snowmobiling and skiing. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciate the chance to rent.
Loved this property-- the lodge and guest cabin next door are beautifully rustic.....it was spacious for our group of 15. The property managers were wonderful!
We enjoyed the sauna and fireplace on cool, rainy days and exploring beautiful Lake Vermilion. Loved this unique historic vibe from this 1935 Westhaven Lodge!
Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place. We enjoyed it very much. The cabin was very cozy and relaxing. It had everything we were hoping for. We especially loved our evenings fishing off the dock. Thank you!
My Family loves this place. The table is big enough for all my local in-laws to come and eat with us. We have an extremely large family and everyone can come and eat here. It has plenty of space for the kids to play outside and/or in. Very cute decor, clean and comfy. This is our 2nd time here and we would definitely stay again.
The lodge was a great place for our family. There was room inside and out for the kids to play. The bedrooms were on one end so the little ones could nap. Everyone enjoyed the firepit, the beach and the area in general. We will definitely book it again.
