This is more than just a place to stay.

There are touches to this home that make it feel more like a home than a place. Cushions, throw rugs and ornaments just gave it that extra bit of comfort.

North Lakes

Kitchen lacked a few items (bowls for preparing meals and serving dishes). TV hard to get to free-to-air. 3rd bedroom (not used) had only drawers, no hanging space.

We were four adults from three different parts of the world, who used this as a home base while visiting elderly parents. It was a wonderful place to come back to after a busy day, to relax and unwind before the next busy day.The one who arrived last got the 'kids' room' but she was very comfortable in one of those twin beds. The men were more deferent to me, giving me the main bedroom, which had the luxury of an ensuite. The king bed was very comfortable. I thought I might have needed an extra blanket, but I was quite cozy, even though the weather was cool in the mornings/evenings.I went equipped with consumables, but there were plenty there, so they came back home with me (unpacked), i.e. we had everything we needed day-to-day.We didn't meet our host, but he provided us with all the necessary information, and we had his number in case of any emergency (we didn't need it).All-in-all, a very good decision to stay here instead of with family! We will definitely do it again if there are three or more of us visiting. Quite often it's just two of us, so we will have to look for a smaller place for those occasions.
