You can check me out on: Google/LinkedIn/FB/IG to get some assurance. Located 2 hours from Toronto this cottage is fully equipped for short & long term stays w/ BBQ, Kayak, Paddleboat, Stand-up boards, Boardgames, Outdoor games, Netflix, X-Box, Linens and Utensils making it your perfect getaway.

The area is ideal in any season for fishing, water sports, snow-shoeing, ice-fishing, cross-country skiing, ice skating & golfing and if you are looking to get away from city life and enjoy nature, then welcome to 'On The Rocks'. This place is ideal for guests who want to have a quiet and relaxing time.

This is a perfect 'dark sky area' for star gazing with an outdoor lakeside fire pit.

While we recommend unplugging, we leave the option to you… featuring high-speed Wi-Fi, X-Box, and DVD.

The cottage comes with a tandem kayak, stand-up boards, paddle boat, fishing rods, BBQ, docks, patio table, hammock, boardgames, outdoor games, outdoor fire pit and wood for exclusive use. Medium and large size life jackets on site.

A 14 feet aluminum boat with 20hp is available for fishing for $35/day. Boating license is required and a waiver to be signed along with $1000 deposit, full tank of gas will be given and you will return with full tank.

Fishing enthusiasts can cast a line right from the docks.

Water is swimmable and over 5 feet deep off the docks.

The very spacious backyard has enough space for all of your favorite summer activities, a volleyball/badminton net, coquette set, baseball glove and balls, soccer, basketball are located in the shed for you to use and enjoy during your stay.

Flexible rental dates are available year round.

Spring/Summer:
Stoney Lake is known for its clam, clear lake, its warm water, and access to fishing. The lake is great for all water activities such as boating, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and more. There is loads of space to store your equipment, and boat launches are nearby.

If you are bringing water toys, the marina is 5 mins away to launch. Water toys such as tubes, slides, sea-doo's, kayaks, boats, and canoes can be rented in the area and delivered to the cottage. (Message the host or see the host's Guidebook).

Golf courses & hiking trails nearby. Many different species of birds and wild animals can be enjoyed while hiking or mountain biking the area trails.

Public beach in the area.

Fall/Winter:
Fall drives to the cottage are the most beautiful with changing leaves, calm water, and deer spotting along the way.

As the lake freezes, you can enjoy a crisp clear winter day by going for a walk, ice-fishing or skating on the frozen lake. There are many ungroomed trails for snowshoeing and cross country skiing nearby.

We provide all linens, towels, cookware, dinnerware, kids dinnerware, toilet paper, paper towel, pots, pans, dishes, dish soap, hand soap, 1 full regular size propane tank for the barbecue, Keurig and regular coffee machine with pods, tea kettle, Insta-pot, and blender.

This is a quiet neighborhood, and loud outdoor parties and music are prohibited. Guests must respect the neighbors and no trespassing to neighbors' property. Outdoor cameras are in place for monitoring in the driveway and yard and on lakeside to monitor water, docks, firepit and deck. No camera's inside.

Parking for 4 cars. Many stores, restaurants, and diners are nearby. The local convenient store is LCBO and Beer store, and they stock a good collection. Please see the host's guidebook for things to do, places to visit, and local amenities.

Separate tap for drinking water at the kitchen sink that is triple filtered + reverse osmosis. The rest of the taps have triple-filtered water from the lake. While the water is purified lake water with reverse osmosis for drinking, I ask guests to bring in drinking water since there’s a rare possibility of water contamination.

Even though there are few adult and children’s life jackets on the property it’s the sole responsibility of the guests to use right fitting water safety gear.

Guests are asked to bring their own beach/lake towels, toiletries, food, water and safety gear. You can also bring your own Keurig pods and ground coffee.
